After spending a bit more time adjusting to the newly upgraded lv8 "Chakra Refinement Technique" and ensuring it flowed smoothly within his body, Seimei finally shifted his attention away from it. Instead, he focused on the group of shadow clones still training.
This time, because he'd taken a while to test the effects of his advanced "Chakra Refinement Technique," the clones had been training for over an hour—closer to an hour and a half.
As a result, he could expect that when they returned, the flood of memory and information they'd bring would far exceed anything from before.
Fortunately, his mental and physical balance had somewhat stabilized, and the sealed portion of his mental energy had already been released. Otherwise, he might've had to recall the shadow clones in two batches.
Shaking his head at the thought, Seimei refocused. With a thought, he dispelled the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique."
In an instant, all the shadow clones disintegrated, including those far away in the primeval forest of the northeastern Land of Fire, absorbing natural energy.
A massive wave of memories, chakra, and natural energy flooded back into his body.
Seimei's expression remained calm. As usual, he temporarily set aside the memories, first sorting and storing the returning chakra and natural energy. Only then did he begin sifting through the memories in his mind.
Time ticked by, second by second.
About twenty minutes later, Seimei finished reviewing the memories, fully absorbing and digesting the training experience they contained.
Once done, he swallowed a few enhanced soldier pills to replenish the energy he'd just expended.
Then, he cast the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique" again, kicking off a new round of training.
And so, the days passed one by one.
In the blink of an eye, two months had gone by.
The scorching summer had faded, and it was now early November.
That afternoon, after completing another session of practicing the "Limit of the Body," Seimei returned to Moon Island. He dispelled the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique," recalled all his shadow clones, and absorbed their training experiences and memories from the past hour. Suddenly, a restless sensation stirred within him.
The feeling was familiar—the telltale sign of a Bloodline Limit advancing.
His eyes snapped open.
"Panel!"
With a thought, he opened his proficiency panel.
As expected, after two months of passive evolution, among his three Bloodline Limits nearing advancement, the fastest-progressing "Ice Release" had reached the brink.
Its evolution had gone from (4,650/5,000) to (4,999/5,000)—just one step from advancing.
Without hesitation, Seimei focused his mind, channeling his chakra and converting it entirely into Ice Release chakra.
Then, he began using this chakra to stimulate his body.
Time slipped by, moment by moment.
Seimei carefully sensed the changes in his body, his mind gradually sinking into the depths of his physical being.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Suddenly, a strange sound rang out.
A layer of frost had unknowingly formed around Seimei's body.
Moments later, the frost turned into crystalline ice.
And, visibly, the ice began spreading outward with him at the center.
It started within a two-meter radius, quickly expanded to ten meters, and after a few more minutes, it covered a hundred-meter range.
And it didn't stop there.
As Seimei's Bloodline Limit evolved, the ice's reach continued to grow, faster and faster.
Not only that, but ice spikes began sprouting from the frozen surface.
These spikes varied in length and thickness, their only commonality being their rapid, unpredictable appearance.
This spelled disaster for many small animals in the forest.
They weren't frozen by the ice but were instead pierced through by the spikes.
Crimson blood flowed from their bodies, quickly freezing into the ice, forming ruby-like gems—beautiful yet cruel.
Thankfully, this was on an uninhabited island.
If this had happened in a populated area, the consequences would be unimaginable.
It's no wonder the Hidden Mist Village shunned the Yuki Clan. Their ninja, upon awakening their Bloodline Limit, likely caused countless casualties due to losing control.
Of course, Seimei hadn't lost control.
The phenomena around him were partly due to a temporary dip in control as his Ice Release advanced.
But more than that, it was because his Ice Release, after this evolution, had become overwhelmingly powerful.
The surrounding effects were merely the result of a small fraction of its power spilling over.
After all, compared to the Sharingan, his Ice Release would now be at the level of the Three Tomoe.
While the Three Tomoe Sharingan was far inferior to the Mangekyō, it wasn't something just anyone in the Uchiha Clan could awaken.
Similarly, Ice Release at this level was likely something even the Yuki Clan, at its peak, saw only in a handful of members.
So, a slight loss of control was normal.
Time continued to pass.
About half an hour later, Seimei opened his eyes again.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
As he moved, chunks of ice shattered around him.
He glanced at his surroundings.
In an instant, he understood what had happened.
Frowning slightly, he thought for a moment before raising his hand, releasing a surge of chakra.
The chakra quickly enveloped the ice covering the island.
With a thought, Seimei fused his chakra with the ice.
Then, with a soft shout, "Disperse!"
The ice transformed into white mist and vanished.
Clearly, he had used his Ice Release to erase the ice.
Before this advancement, he couldn't have done this so effortlessly.
Only now, with his enhanced control over Ice Release, could he manage it with such ease.
With that thought, Seimei opened his panel again, checking the Bloodline section.
As expected, his Ice Release had broken through the (4,999/5,000) barrier and reached (1/10,000)!
From now on, it would be on the same tier as Wood Release, with a significantly higher difficulty for further evolution.
But that was a concern for later, not something he needed to think about now.
For now, he had one more task: determining how this advancement had improved his potential.
With that in mind, Seimei began sensing the changes in his body.
Normally, confirming this would require some testing.
But his experience with multiple Bloodline Limit advancements allowed him to skip the process and make a fairly accurate judgment directly.
A few minutes later, he opened his eyes, having formed a clear idea of how his potential had improved.
In terms of time saved for strengthening his body, this advancement would let him reach the threshold for his next transformation about ten days earlier.
Ten days wasn't much, but considering his body would complete its next transformation in just under three months, those ten days were valuable.
And this wasn't a one-time benefit.
Theoretically, each future body-strengthening session would save him some time.
Plus, at his current pace, his Storm Release should also advance before his body's next transformation.
When that happened, it would save even more time.
Seimei was looking forward to it.
