"You won't find anything in that deserted place. I had been to that area many times before for any clues related to you.", Kevin replied in a relatively serious tone. Jack, even after hearing Kevin, thought to visit that place at least once. He felt that if he visits there, he would undoubtedly find some traces of his past life. He made up his mind and ordered Eddie, "Get my car Eddie, we are leaving now for that place."
Eddie, without even blinking, strolled directly towards his room to fetch car keys and returned with a bunch of them.
"Which one Master??", Eddie asked Jack faithfully.
Jack widened his eyes in amazement and asked, "How many cars do I own??", "More than 20, Master. But I have access to only few of them, rest I don't know actually. I haven't touched any of these since the day you disappeared." Eddie replied in unison.
Meanwhile, Kevin lit a cigarette and offered another one to Jack, "Why wasting time in these silly questions??, let's head to our ensured location if you really want to." Kevin said expressing his opinion.
Jack gestured Eddie and exited home through the gateway along with Kevin.
In no time, Jack and Kevin were standing in front of a sexy black G-wagon (G-class SUV). Eddie opened the gates for his Master and Kevin. The moment they entered the car; Jack recognized his car from the fragrance i.e. car freshener. And obviously he looked for his ashtray first in the dashboard.
"And here, hold this Master", while speaking Eddie handed over a Pistol to Jack. "Is this mine too??", Jack asked surprisingly.
"Of course, Master. I had found this Pistol in this car's storage cabinet", Eddie replied simultaneously.
Jack kept looking at the Pistol in his hand constantly. 'Why do I have these weapons??, How and Why am I allied to all these things??'. Jack's mind was buzzing with numerous thoughts. He tried to ignore all these while taking a deep drag of his cigarette. Out of nowhere, he suddenly recalls something and asks in bewilderment "Eddie, do you know anything about Ruhi??".
But shockingly this time Eddie ignored his Master's gaze and words. "Eddie, you very well know the consequenses of avoiding my line of sight", Jack said threateningly.
Eddie's hand on the steering became numb and his feet started shivering. He couldn't risk upsetting Jack or else today he will be doomed for sure. With trembling voice, he replied "A-All I know is that she was your Girlfriend. I am literally sorry but, I don't know anything except that."
Jack shot him a death glare. Eddie in reply gestured towards Kevin and fell silent. It was then Jack realised that Eddie was incompetent to express himself in the presence of Kevin. But the thing which Jack couldn't believe is, even his best friend is not trustworthy anymore. At this juncture, Jack literally felt as if there was no-one despite having everyone.
"Ahhmm…. Can we take a toilet break??", Kevin said breaking the silence among them.
"We don't have leisure time to waste on these silly things. Hold it for few minutes, we have almost reached there", Jack replied gravely. Kevin lit a cigarette in response and fell silent.
"Reached", Eddie declared. Jack hurriedly jumped out of the car, stood at a point and asked Eddie nervously "Is this the point where they surrounded me??". Eddie nodded in Yes. The very next second Jack lunged to another point and asked "Is this the point where they shot me first bullet??". Eddie nodded in Yes again. To his surprise, Jack already started reminiscing about that night since he came here.
Meanwhile, Kevin was noticing all of Jack's actions from the sidelines with a hint of agitation in his eyes. No one knows what is he hiding from Jack and others. But, there surely is something fishy.
"After your retreat, pointing at Eddie, they hit me with a thick iron rod. The rod strikes my head and damaged my internal nerves, Hippocampus, and in consequence I am suffering with Retrograde Amnesia", Jack disclosed that night's incident to them with clarity.
Kevin who was silent all along couldn't hold up anymore and asked "What happened after that??, I mean How and Who saved you that night??"
"I can't recall that thing actually because due to injury my vision blurred and I passed out in no time. And when I woke up, I found myself in the middle of a dense forest, wounds wrapped with bandages almost ahhmm 100 miles far from here." Jack replied thinking of that night.
"But I have a hazy image of a girl who may be saved me that night. And yes, one more thing, she was wearing one piece maxi in peach color." Jack continued in unison as if he suddenly remembers something.
