As they approached the corner where the stairs were, there was a sudden noise. Jiaojiao turned her head and saw Yu Rou coming out from a room.
When Yu Rou opened the door, she noticed the door opposite was ajar, with a woman standing there, sneakily peeking toward the corner of the hallway. Following her gaze, she spotted Jiaojiao and Duan Xi and immediately glared at the woman: "Who are you, sneaking around here?"
Wa Yiting had been standing by the doorway, watching Jiaojiao, and hadn't expected the opposite door to suddenly open, giving her a scare. Her first instinct was to close the door, but the small cart at the entrance blocked her way.
