Upon arriving at the hotel, Jiaojiao took a shower and comfortably lay down. The next morning, before she was even awake, Duan Xi came to her room to call her up.
Jiaojiao hadn't rested well on the train for two days. Although she slept early last night, she still felt she hadn't slept enough. Hearing the knock on the door, she didn't want to get up, turned over on the bed, drowsily shouted towards the door a couple of times, not caring whether the person outside could hear, and then closed her eyes again to continue sleeping.
She didn't know how long she slept for. When she opened her eyes again, she saw Duan Xi sitting by the bedside watching her, his gaze was direct and fixed, and his face was getting closer.
She was startled, clutching the bed covers to her chest as she looked at him, "Brother Xi, why are you sitting here?"
