Second floor of the student dormitory, stairwell.
Wade followed Jordan Li through a steel security gate and walked down the corridor.
On both sides of the corridor, it was as boisterous as a bustling market, with all sorts of university students gathered, superpower-endowed boys and girls mixed in, chatting and playing around.
Several couples were either floating on the ceiling or kissing against the wall; pungent smoke seeped from under dormitory doors, accompanied by bursts of wild laughter and moans... Jordan Li, long accustomed to these chaotic scenes, turned to Wade and said, "That Chance just now, pay a little attention to him. His father is one of the main sponsors of the school board... You made him lose so much face today, he might not let it go easily."
"Understood, thanks for the reminder." Wade nodded, not taking it to heart.
Just then, a naked young man phased out of the wall without warning, instantly materializing and blocking their path: "Lee, this is the new student you brought, right?"
He turned and extended his hand, then continued to Wade: "I'm Jimmy, you can also call me 'Phaser.' I'm the second-floor residential assistant... Welcome to Godolkin UniversityAsylum!"
"Oh, important announcement: All new students must attend the 'X Consent Seminar' at 3 PM this afternoon in Lecture Hall A, regarding the boundaries and rules during... uh, interactions between Supes. It's very important, remember to be on time."
"X Consent? Aren't we all adults?" Wade had some doubts about the term.
"That's not what it means. After all, everyone's abilities are diverse, and it's easy for... accidents to happen when emotions run high." Jimmy spread his hands, giving a 'you know what I mean' expression. "Anyway, you must attend. Signing in counts towards your credits."
"Alright, I've noted it." Wade shook his hand and agreed.
A chilling sensation shot into his palm, and fragmented perceptions of 'Phasing' and 'Materialization' flashed through his mind.

Bidding farewell to Jimmy, the two continued further inside.
Along the way, many people greeted Jordan Li.
"Hey, Jordan!"
"Lee! Coming to the party tonight?"
"Jordan, see you at the pool this afternoon?"
Jordan Li responded to each, either high-fiving or having a brief chat, clearly very popular.
Wade's Adam's apple bobbed slightly, his gaze sweeping over every lively figure in the corridor, like a connoisseur admiring a diverse collection.
The air was filled with an unrestrained, indulgent atmosphere, where various superpowers were wantonly displayed.
A five-foot-tall Gothic girl with twin ponytails wandered the corridor.
White mist emanated from her palms as she went around applying freezing effects to everyone's drinks. When her ability got out of control, she froze someone's limb, leading to a barrage of curses and a chase.
"You little bitch, don't run if you've got guts!"
"Nyah nyah nyah... I didn't mean to."
"Excuse me, coming through!" The pale-skinned Gothic girl ran desperately down the corridor, passing between Wade and Jordan Li.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh—
Dozens of wooden spears flew through the air, pursuing her.
"Be careful, these guys can go crazy... and their superpowers don't have eyes." Jordan Li pulled Wade against the wall, pointing to a door diagonally opposite with room number 216. "There, that's your room. I have something to do, so I have to go now."
Wade pressed her shoulder, his tone sincere: "Thanks for today."
"It's nothing." Jordan blinked, saying casually, "Don't forget our agreement, see you at Godolkin Stadium when you're free! I want to see how you 'comprehend'!"
Her outline quickly blurred as she shifted back to her male form and turned to blend into the crowd in the corridor.
Wade pushed open the door to dormitory 216. The room was not large, a standard double room.
The left side of the space was empty, while the other side was already filled with luggage and items, with posters of various sports cars and A-Train, the only speedster from The Seven, plastered on the wall.
A white figure darted around the room at extreme speed, creating gusts of wind that made papers rustle.
Whoosh—sizzle!
The white figure suddenly stopped, revealing a lean, energetic Caucasian youth.
He held up his phone, looking at the screen, then looked up at Wade's face, repeating this two or three times: "Wait! That face... are you...?"
The white youth gasped, then, as if a fast-forward button had been pressed, excitedly darted around the room three times before braking to a stop: "Wow... You, you're Cyclone!!"
He showed his phone; on the screen was the campus trending topics list, with the third-ranked tag prominently displaying #CycloneBeatsFireDragon#, accompanied by a very clear combat video.
"Awesome, man! Wade Thompson, right?" The white youth, with powder on his nose, excitedly extended his hand. "I'm Jade, Jade Rollins. Everyone calls me 'Speedy,' I run just a little bit faster than others."
Wade shook his hand, the other's hand speed was so fast it felt like touching a vibrating stick.

"You really brought us new students great face!" Jade took a selfie with Wade. "Those sophomores and juniors always pick on new students, I've always hated them!"
Wade put down his luggage and smiled: "It's nothing, I just got lucky."
Jade spun around the room at high speed, appearing extremely excited: "Hey, Jimmy said in the group chat that there's a freshman rave party tonight, with lots of hot girls, don't miss it."
"Okay, I'll check it out if I have nothing else to do." Wade walked to the window, looking at the thick tempered glass. "Can't this window be opened?"
"Don't even think about it, these are specially made... they say it's for the safety of the faculty and staff." Jade's voice came from behind him. "If you break it, not only will you have to pay, but you'll also get a major demerit, making it hard to graduate."
"Alright." Wade poked the glass, looking down at the hurried pedestrians below, recalling the previous battle.
He could easily crush Fire Dragon and his group not just with one ability; his development of pure [Gas Manipulation] wasn't that deep, with an effective range of only about five meters around him.
Without the superpower enhancement of [Levitation], he really couldn't expand his attack range or quickly pursue enemies.
The physical strength of each Supe on campus varied. With his current proficiency in [Blood Manipulation], he couldn't remotely detonate the blood vessels of someone with enhanced physique. At most, he could only cause slight capillary ruptures on the target's skin, or induce mild dizziness and nausea.
He had figured this out during his days in solitary confinement.
Using [Blood Manipulation] to affect an enemy's blood supply, combined with [Gas Extraction] to create a sensation of suffocation, this dual combination could rapidly dismantle an opponent's combat effectiveness... Any life on Earth that needs to breathe would be affected;
By using [Blood Manipulation] to accelerate his own blood circulation, he not only increased oxygen supply but also imperceptibly sped up the condensation and responsiveness of surrounding gases.
Offensive methods like palm air cannons and small tornadoes were developed and used this way.
'For superpowers with insufficient proficiency, combining them is the right path, as it can yield unexpected new effects.'
'If I can't detonate blood vessels, I'll pick those with weaker physiques, make them bleed a little from the nose, and then use [Insect Manipulation] to steal blood samples... The campus greenery is so good, I'll gather a batch of mosquitoes tonight to practice.'
Wade walked to the door, poked his head out, and took a few deep breaths.
'Using their superpowers as resources to develop the most proficient [Gas Manipulation] ability is the right path.'
The air was mixed with sweat, perfume, and the complex scent of... compound v.
Under blood perception, his vision could clearly distinguish which people had pale blue components of superpowers flowing in their veins, and which were normal people with pure red blood.
