The massive glass doors of the teaching building swung open and closed repeatedly as a tide of diverse freshmen poured out.
Wade hovered above the crowd, his gaze fixed on a circular building in the distance.
"Hey, Wade, where are you going?" Jade zipped to his feet like a gust of wind. "I've spent the last few days exploring. Do you want me to show you around?"
Wade pointed toward the circular building. "Is the stadium over there?"
"Yeah, I was just heading there to practice racing." Jade snapped his fingers and agreed readily. "Just showing you the way is boring. How about a race? We'll bet on who reaches the stadium entrance first. The loser buys dinner."
Wade glanced at the dense crowd and the obstacles on the road, then shook his head. "I'm flying in the sky, and you're running on the ground... is there even any point in comparing?"
He could do more than just levitate; if he intentionally manipulated the air currents, the air would automatically part around his body. As long as his physical form could withstand it, breaking the speed of sound would be no problem at all.
"I haven't even tried extreme flight yet..."
Jade clasped his hands together in a pleading gesture from below, shouting with exaggerated drama, "Don't be like that, man! Please, let me have this advantage. You're a celebrity. If others see me reaching the finish line at the same time as you..."
"My reputation as 'Fleetfoot' Jade will skyrocket! I'll have more confidence when picking up girls at the party tonight!" He winked. "Help me out here, good roommate."
Wade floated down, crossing his arms and teasing, "Oh? What's in it for me if I help you?"
"I know all the gossip—which teachers are easy to fool, and the latest news on every party." Jade flickered around him, whispering, "From now on, I'll be your living campus map and intelligence officer!"
Wade looked at his clownish behavior and played along. "Fine, I'll let you have this one."
"Wuhu... Awesome!" Jade cheered and immediately looked around, quickly locking onto a target. "Jill, come over and help us out."
Jill, wearing a gothic dress, walked over slowly with a stoic face. "What is it?"
"Help us record a video at the stadium entrance," Jade said.
"Introduce me to a sturdy boyfriend." Jill held out a pale hand, her tone remains cold. "Or provide payment: one 'blue crystal'."
"Hey, aren't you being too greedy? We're relatives, and it's just a video!"
"Are you filming or not? If not, I'm leaving."
"This is practically robbery." Jade's face fell, and he quickly stopped her. "Wait, wait, wait... I'll give it to you. I'll give it, okay?"
Jill took the blue crystal, checked it carefully against the light, and tucked it into her pocket with satisfaction. "See you at the entrance."
Wade floated down, looking curiously at the blue crystal. "What is that?"
"Good stuff!" Jade looked around and lowered his voice. "On the streets, it's called 'blue crystal'. Some 'Genius Chef' came up with it in recent years. Its purity is as high as 99.5%."
"Ordinary people are done for if they touch even a bit, but for us Supes... hehe, it's premium hard currency, more expensive than gold!"
"This stuff makes you feel like you're in heaven, like the whole world is in your hands." He looked at Wade. "I won't let you help for nothing. Here, take this."
Hearing this, Wade's brow furrowed imperceptibly, and a sense of instinctive disgust welled up within him. Just as he was about to decline, Jade enthusiastically pressed another one into his hand.
Wade casually stuffed it into his pants pocket. The moment his fingertip touched the blue crystal, his body trembled slightly.
An intense, almost violent throb came from deep within him. Every cell was screaming frantically, transmitting a primal sense of desire and hunger.
This sensation far exceeded his reaction to absorbing any Supe gene sample. The blue crystal was like an ultra-high energy compressed body radiating a fatal allure!
He suppressed the shock on his face and changed what he was about to say: "Fine, I'll take it back and study it."
Wade needed to figure out if this thing was a highly refined derivative of compound v and why just touching it had such a bizarre attraction.
"Okay, Jill is in position." Jade hung up his communication device and signaled with his hand. "Let's start filming."
Wade watched Jade talk to the camera on his own, only nodding in cooperation.
In this information age, an unknown Supe youth had to act like this to become famous... chasing clout and accumulating fans.
He didn't plan on taking the talent show or corporate route himself, so there was no need for him to play this game.
Jade put away his phone and took a starting position on the spot. "Ready? Three, two, one!"
Before his voice could fade, Jade's figure had already darted out with a gust of wind, moving so fast he was nothing but a blurred afterimage.
Wade lightly pushed off with his toes and floated up elegantly. Though he didn't seem fast, he remained neck-and-neck with the sprinting Jade on the ground.
Whoosh—Boom—
The white shadow on the ground turned into a zigzagging bolt of lightning, while the black shadow in the sky was like a flying missile. The ear-piercing sonic booms caused the freshmen along the road to look over and gasp in surprise.
A dozen seconds later, the black shadow in the sky and the white shadow on the ground arrived simultaneously at the stadium's grand entrance.
Jill, who had been waiting on the ground for a long time, cooperatively scattered a large amount of exploding frost mist into the air for the two of them to pass through.
Jill expressionlessly put down her phone and walked over to the white shadow, who had come to an emergency stop. "Done. I've sent the video to you." Having said that, she turned and left.
"Perfect, absolutely perfect!" Jade was panting, excitedly pulling out his phone to check the recording. "Haha, once it's edited, I'll be famous too."
Wade dropped from the sky, his attention entirely on the stadium before him.
Instead of a stadium, this place was more like a small Supe comprehensive training base.
The massive space was divided into different zones:
In the strength zone, burly men with bulging muscles lifted oversized barbells that were bent and deformed. On the track, the phantoms of speedsters flickered continuously. The combat practice zone was even more tumultuous, with sparks and lightning clashing from time to time.
The most eye-catching feature was the circular stone fighting arena in the center, where a savage duel was currently taking place.
A burly man completely covered in silver metal was trading blows with a werewolf whose hair was bristling and whose fangs were bared.
Fists slammed into the ground with dull, heavy thuds, and wolf claws tore through the air with sharp whistles.
"Whoa! It's the juniors, 'Iron sheet' and 'Wolverine'!" Jade pulled Wade to a front-row seat to watch. "I placed a bet on Wolverine yesterday; he's definitely going to win."
Wade's gaze locked onto the splashing sweat and... blood. As the werewolf was forced back by Iron sheet's strike, several drops of crimson blood flew out.
'Good chance!' With a flicker of thought, Wade covertly spun an air current with his fingertip. Those few drops of blood, as if pulled by an invisible hand, naturally drifted over, moving bit by bit along the ground.
However, just as the blood was about to be absorbed by him, the energy fluctuations from the combat collision interfered with his control over the blood drops.
Wade thought to himself that things were looking bad. Had he been discovered?
He calmly observed his surroundings and found that the audience was still fully focused on the match. No one seemed to have noticed anything unusual.
'I'm moving it along the cracks in the floor; there's no way anyone could notice...'
Wade didn't dare be careless. He cautiously manipulated the air current while pulling up his pant leg.
This time, he slowed down, approaching the drops of blood bit by bit while keeping a close eye on the combat fluctuations on the arena.
Finally, through Wade's persistent efforts, those drops of blood were successfully absorbed into his pant leg.

Next, Iron sheet was struck by a barrage of claw blades, leaving several thin cuts on his arms. The splashing blood droplets were likewise stolen by Wade.

"What did I tell you? Speed is king." Jade slapped his thigh excitedly. "That heavy lug Iron sheet can only take a beating... Haha, this win is guaranteed!"
Wade raised an eyebrow and said flatly, "Don't celebrate too early. Iron sheet is clearly wearing down Wolverine's stamina. That werewolf is getting more and more impatient."
"Impossible, absolutely impossible! Wolverine is bound to win!" Jade shouted back like a crazed gambler. "Stop just scratching the surface!... You're killing me, hurry up and poke his eyes!"
