Until she got on the transfer bus, Alice Smith still couldn't shake off her concern. In the end, she decided to make a phone call to ask about Shane Winchester's condition, at least... at least to confirm that he wasn't injured.
As if they were telepathically connected, a text message came in just before Alice Smith dialed out.
Seeing the familiar name on the screen, Alice Smith couldn't help but feel a twinge of anxiety.
'Are you worrying about me?'
A brief line of text made Alice Smith breathe a sigh of relief. It seemed he shouldn't be in any serious trouble; otherwise, how could he still speak in such a self-absorbed tone?
As if to confirm her guess, another text message came in. Alice Smith looked again, still a message from Shane Winchester, but with a more serious tone: "The blood on the ground isn't mine, don't worry."
Seeing this, Alice Smith finally let out a long breath, presumably he was really okay.
