Grey was fast asleep atop of lily's belly while terra seemed to have fallen off the bed taking the blanket with and sky was asleep upon her cloud hair floating above everyone comfortably.
the sun was only now just barley peeking over the horizon when a massive explosion echoed throughout the entire kingdom.
all the girls only slightly stirred in their sleep as if it was just a thunderstorm but due to greys sensitive hearing he flew off of lilies belly flinging himself into a nearby wall out of pure fright and panic.
now fully awake grey looked around in a sweaty panic scanning his surroundings tracking the source of his turmoil when he noticed with his ears many people outside staring towards the center of the kingdom and armored guards were even running in that direction. grey quickly ran to the closest window and in his rush, he shattered the glass as he ran outside launching himself upon the roof tops scanning the area to get a sense for what was happening, he turned towards one direction after his fully erect ears twitch as if picking up a signal.
he heard two voices distinctly a feminine almost robotic voice shouting "gather all the gold and black cores in the kingdom, Have the Blue rock unit go after the strange group from yesterday. Every other unit converge at the castle we have many escaped prisoners and damage this is all hands-on deck!"
grey also heard another voice a distance from him and growing more distant with every passing moment.
''I get that we need to escape quietly but did you need to release every prisoner so we could escape? you do know some of those people are very dangerous right?"
grey didn't recognize this voice but based off what he heard he could tell they were trouble when he heard another more familiar voice.
''correction we needed a distraction to get your daughters cores while keeping everyone busy, plus I don't care if this kingdom falls anymore, I'm no longer just a pawn.''
'That was decently Quinn's voice talking about that explosion, so he is somehow involved? he might need help after his talk with his supposed mom and lily should be safe here since sky and terra are here. right?'
while grey was dashing out the building a groggy lily sat up and stared at the broken window as her long green hair was a totally mess blocking her vision partially before turning to the two supposed adults still asleep as if the obvious murmur outside wasn't important to them in the slightest "Ugh, I'm up already ill just get ready and see what's going on outside."
lily quickly got washed her face and fixed her hair when she felt something tingle down her back when their front door exploded which was what finally woke terra and sky.
the three girls looked towards where the door once was as dust only reveled a tall silhouette that walked through and stared all of them down with malice on his face.
the man was a slim but muscular light elf with pale skin and hair a bright red that contrasted with his blue leather armor
"My name is captain Ryan knights and I'm here to arrest you ladies under suspicion of overthrowing the kingdom under orders from guardian Pax gold, please do not resist."
sky wrapped her body in her cloud hair as is slowly turned from a beautiful whit to a dark grey with sparks of electricity.
terra now fully awake activated her blood scion as glowing red bear tattoo appeared on her and power surged throughout her body as fangs and claws slowly formed but didn't transform fully.
lily stood there in shock but quickly jumped in between her team and the guards trying to calm both sides "wait wait wait we didn't even do anything yet; we just got here last night and fell asleep almost immediately after."
a humanoid girl with brown hair covered on black stripes and what seemed to be tiger ears atop barged in from behind Ryan reveling her tiger leather armor that almost resembled pajamas "Yet! So, you were planning something! honey we got to take them down before they try escaping."

lily opened her moth to retort as she stepped closer to them but a beam from behind Ryan was fired hitting her gut and launching her trough the wall and into the street.

however, the next moment repeated explosions sounded out from her now destroyed room as terra in a now beastly form as fur grew along her limbs was launched out of the building and crashed into another while the tiger girl rushed after her with blurring speeds while a pillar of flames seemed to be attacking a dark cloud in the air Ryan propelled himself into the sky like a flaming rocket chasing after the storm cloud that was repeatedly launching bolts of electricity
as they flew into the air Ryan forged a blade from compressed flames that slowly started turning blue and arrows made of flame formed around him launch towards sky's cloud like missiles homing in on her.
lily immediately summoned crystal and Adam while she wondered were grey was at when two figures jumped down from her ruined room one was a brown-haired girl with bright golden eyes and sloth arms was just wearing a big yellow shirt and pajama pants while she slowly approached with a tired look on her face, the other figure however was a tall dark skinned man with a big frame and a horn protruding from his forehead while he wore a purple leather armor.
the huge dark elf dispelled the horn on his head as he turned to his partner in gold "Orla wake up and petrify these guys well do the sloth ball maneuver.''
Orla just nodded ''let's get this over with Luke I was gaming in the tree house.''
Luke raised his hand to his teammate and lifted her into the air before launching her like a baseball flying through the air faster than most could react to.
but crystal quickly jumped to protect lily while Adam went on the attack Orla clashed with Adam in the air but the moment her sloth like claws touched him his entire body was slowly turning into gold.
Adam quickly entered the shadows to avoid her but jumped out of a nearby shadow seconds later screaming ''what is this!'' his arms were now completely made of heavy gold leaving the hanging.
he used his shadows to no avail, but when he used his mind rune on the spreading gold it slowed down greatly but didn't stop. Adam used his shadow to summon the troll he gained a few days ago and had it attack the girl with ice spikes.
Luke quickly telekinetically grabbed Orla and pulled her away from the ice spikes while muttering aloud to himself ''this anomaly is a summoner whose summons can create summons how fascinating and worrisome.''
Orla turned to Luke with a worried look in her eyes ''Do you think the other team will be ok? scans show she sent her rabbit which might be a summon after the escaped convicts.''
lily was thinking about the possibility of all her summons having summons of their own like he said when she heard grey was involved in some sort of prison break causing her eyebrow to twitch in pure rage thinking to herself 'I'm going to tear that rabbit's ears off.'
however, the moment she followed her link with grey she suddenly felt a surge of red aura emit from her the link and erupt from her body, and it continued from her link into Adam and crystal
they all felt surprised as their power was greatly enhanced three times over but none were more surprised than Luke and Orla as the watched with wide eyes as all three of their foes started glowing a feint red with crimson eyes. But the most surprising thing was the moment the red energy enveloped Adam his arms made of solid gold was quickly returned to flesh.
while Luke and Orla stared in confusing at lily and her summons when everyone heard a loud roar in the distance and felt the red energy inside them vibrate in pure anger.
lily connected to grey and only felt two things Danger and raw anger, she immediately connected to crystals and Adams minds ''this is greys power, but it feels like he's in extreme danger we need to defeat these guys fast, any ideas?''
Adam thought aloud in their mental link I've seen power similar to this before among beasts and humans it called the berserk state it's basically a final burst of power in the face of death.''
lily was surprised at the new but the next thing shocked both Adam and lily when a feminine voice rung out through the mental link ''I handle gold lady; Adam attacks the unicorn guy.''
"Wait you can talk!!!'' they shouted in unison while staring at crystal who was glaring at Orla like she was made of money.
Adam turned to lily for confirmation which she gave a nod to so Adam entered his shadows and attacked Luke who retaliated by firing off laser beams at the evading shadow quickly approaching.
and while Adam distracted Luke crystal charged towards Orla while increasing her size while Orla swiped at crystals giant dirt frame in a panic and turned the dirt knight into gold causing her movement to halt abruptly.
Orla let out a deep sigh of relief see how crystals entire body was petrified in gold right as it was extending it's arm as if to punch her.
when she turned around, she saw ice and shadow attacking Luke but before she finished taking a full step to help her partner a massive golden fist slammed into her arm launching her into a building.
Luke turned at the sounds of an explosion directly behind him and when he turned, he saw Orla knocked in a heap of rubble made of what used to be a wall. In his rage bright lights started coiling around him as they grew brighter and hotter melting all the nearby ice the troll made and pushing away any nearby shadows but before he could explode with anger a blue mist was fired at his face at high speeds which immediate knocked him out Adam and the now golden Crytal turned to lily who seemed to be borrowing greys poison gas rune. ''don't worry it's just sleeping gas.''
at that moment they noticed more explosions were tina and terra were battling with pure physical power leaving the two in a very destructive draw when a massive bright explosion shone above.
before lily could even form a thought sky fell from above charred and injured but barely alive and laying at her feet completely unconscious.
lily and her summons slowly raised their gaze to meet Ryan knights in his new form is pale white skin now had a orange hue to match his hair and his skin was covered in red snake scales. But the strangest change to him was the wing made of blue flames and the Halo made of blue flames above him.
he flapped his flaming wings as he hovered above everyone like an angel of flames and justice, he stared down at lily and her summons. ''I watched your fight while dealing with your friend, your good I'll give you that, but do you think you can handle a vessel for the divine?"
lily stared flabbergasted but didn't want to admit it while he was acting cocky 'What the hell is a Damm vessel?' she thought to herself.
