After every bunny finished praying to the moon goddess as the full moon was finally above them leaking light into their burrow with holes that redirected the light with white crystals making the stage glow with a beautiful glow. Elder oaks got on stage again with a bright treat on a stick in his paws while energy was gathering around the young ones during their awakening some of passing out failing their awakening while others were calm or in shocking pain.
they started with thirty-four rabbits but now there were only about twelve left and to elder oaks dismay grey was still among them.
"We shall now go over the ten gods history; hopefully someone will gain some insight or a blessing from above hearing my words of wisdom." Elder oaks said in a loud rough voice so that others in the crowd could hear him.
"In the beginning Lord Apo Ta was forged from nothing becoming the first and most powerful god. A being of creation and love, after eons in the empty void he created his first children Sol Lux the god of sun, space and life. And Selena the goddess of moon, fate and souls and for them the world was born in six days. After many cycles of love the two gave birth to the first union god known as parity and lulu-za the goddess of life and death.
Seeing this Apo Ta decided to make a few realms for his children to play in but decided his granddaughter also need friends to play with so he created more gods with all his energy."

After elder oaks finished his history recap a few young rabbits finished awakening three rabbits out of the thirty-four left not passed out. "First done awakening is karma of the green family, Joe of the gravel family and finally TCH and unfortunately Grey of the song family. Have successfully awakened their soul runes first. Now please show your soul circuit symbol."
Since karma was the first he lifted his green paw showing off a glowing four-leaf clover symbol on it. Next was Joe who showed off a mountain symbol. And finally grey who showed of a music note.
"They have successfully awakened the elements of Luck, earth and pfft ~thunder" said elder oaks trying to contain his laughter.
During the celebration he explained what each rune could do but for sound all he is they can be loud, copy voices, dig well and move fast but wasn't the best at anything in big groups because it affects a wide area in attacks making in useless for rabbits who survive in groups and loud sounds just attracts more predators. And worst of it was one of the few elements that also hurt its user as it didn't discriminate between friend, foe or user all were just obstacles before it.
He also explained how the first nine levels just boosted the body in certain way depending on the element while at level 10 to 19 allowed them to control or bend their respective elements. While 20 to 29 they gained a special trait or a second element but very rarely both.
Beyond that was unknown to him unfortunately.
Feeling dejected grey went to eat his feelings away alone on a pretty big mound of dirt near the back of the underground burrow. Karma and his sister daisy found grey eating soup and candy corn while drinking apple juice with a big pouty face whilst he stared at every one celebrating.
Karma told him how his flow of energy went in his eyes and can see number above people's heads guessing it was their luck points since his the one in his reflection was pretty high compared to everyone else. He told grey how his sister helped him learn how to focus on the natural flow and activate his rune which only took a few tries and good instinct.
Grey followed daisy's instructions since she was level twenty-two. However, most of his energy was naturally going towards his floppy ears. After he boosted the flow, he could hear almost anything around them. While a little painful he enjoyed this moment before he heard multiple scratches above ground over the noise and music.
grey lightly covered his ears. "This really does hurt it's like a constant headache!" he could hear dripping and crunching sounds from above that sent painful chills down his spine for a reason he could not explain.
At that exact moment a weird red field of energy passed through everyone. Karma looked shocked and said in a panicked voice
" Everyone's luck points went down by thirty points. Most people's numbers are negative now.
As grey heard that a scratching sound got louder and louder until a few explosions appeared in the ground above them.
Out of the holes leading to the surface appeared many hungry looking foxes with an almost sadistic look. And a hungry gleam in their eyes.
The ones that landed near some unsuspecting rabbits immediately bite off their flesh and attacked the rabbits caught in the rubble from their explosive entry spreading blood everywhere. As reality hit like a train grey used his rune to enhance his vocals out of pure instinct yelling "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES" every bunny who heard immediately started running all over as some nearby guards who heard all the commotion came to the area.
Grey dropped to his knees in pure pain, his throat hurt from using his rune on it for the first time and is felt like he swallowed molten blades that left searing hot cut in his mouth.
Elder oak seeing all this was immediately enraged seeing how they came on the day of awakening when most Guards were not above ground but here to watch their children awaken. every race had a truce on this day as it was sacred and important to every species.
He activated his soul rune, and the spirit of a tree trunk spider engulfed him. "Leave the Damm brats alone you ugly looking bastards!" He started hopping along the wall looking demonic whilst spraying poisonous webs to hold down the foxes to save as many bunnies as he could.
The foxes caught in his webs slowly started spasming as the poison slowly and painfully killed them off.
Unfortunately, most foxes had the power of illusions or fire so not many were restrained or hurt by his attacks immediately but does that got hit and escaped were still poisoned and it showed.
