While a large majority of my heart was elated that we had such easy and rapid access to the Empress and her family as well as to Mom and the rest of them back at the March, there was that small part of me that felt... irritated.
Seeing Mother stroll into the kitchen just a minute before me only to end up joined by Lady D'Arcon as the two began to prepare a light breakfast mainly made me happy, but there was also that part of me that was just so damn unhappy that I couldn't just strut into my kitchen naked and do whatever I wanted.
That I couldn't cook naked until someone came downstairs and realized that they could have 'breakfast' well before we sat down to eat breakfast, or that I couldn't call one of them over and tell them to just sit on the counter as I worked because I was feeling 'thirsty'.
