Chester almost responded with a silent "Mm."
"You must have forgotten about my physical condition at the time, right?"
Chester took Alice Robinson's hand and tenderly kissed the back of it, "Don't forget I'm a doctor. I will do everything in my power to ensure the safety of you and the child."
Alice slowly rested her head on Chester's arm, and said softly, "Actually, from the moment I realized I might be pregnant, I've always had a bad feeling... I don't know why."
Chester slightly tilted his head and kissed Alice's forehead, "Don't overthink it. Let's wait until the hospital's test report comes out."
"Mm."
The doctor examined Alice and confirmed her suspicion that she was indeed pregnant.
When Alice heard the news from the nurse, she was very happy.
After leaving the examination room, Alice asked the nurse excitedly, "Oh, where's Chester?"
The nurse said, "Mr. Robinson is with the doctor in the office."
