I then turned to notice a some young kids peeking through the door looking towards me " Sup"
They then ran out screaming something while I got up heading to the door as if they saw something suprising or some monster
I came out then saw that this place looked , it just looked decrepid whatever building structures these were looked like they'd fall apart any second, people dressed in dirty rags with tears, with cheeks sunken and skinny looked they would fall if the wind blew past them, they started looking at me murmuring looking anxious
A man then came up to me and started speaking gibberish or whatever language they have while i confusingly try to correlate what he's actually saying to me

Their own people would do that to them no they arent't even considered people. How can everyone live like this and raise their children to fear others? This is wrong, no I have to do something but what or these people would just be living not having a life.
We ended our conversation with him telling me that some cube -like things are located in the house which they must have found when i washed up and he told me I could explore the village.
While I was exploring I saw some people walking around. The atmosphere was bleak until I heard the sound of children laughing and I saw them playing and I smiled remebering when me and my grandparents used to play like that.
I walked up and said " Hey guys what are you playing"
They looked stunned at my appearance and then said " W.w.were playing knights and mages" A little girl ran up and said excitely even when dressed in rags only a little less skinner than the adults.
" Why do you want to be one though" I asked
" Because they're strong and I can protect everyone here" the little girl said with no hint of hesitation in which i smiled and she then pointed to my ears and tail saying " Can,can i touch them" looking into the cute eyes of the little girl i bent down and gestured yes.
She started petting my ears saying it's soft and the others looked like they wanted to try too so I gestured to them , and in a few minutes I felt like I was at a petting zoo except I'm the pet honestly it feels weird like extra appendages and ticklish when touched.
I got up and left saying we'll play next time but thinking now this place feels more like a home than my original world so maybe now I'm going to stay here and make this my home base and make these my people after all my grandpa used to say that as long as you genuine thats the real foundation for a home.
Along my tour of the place I could hear someone praying hoping for some miracle to reprieve them from their situation and even walked by seeing a little house with some childish drawing on it.
I peeked at the door crack seeing a young boy kneeling down praying to beside a little girl laying on a bed.
I heard him saying " please,please anyone, any god out there please help my sister I'm begging you" he was crying while saying this with a dull look and a weakening voice
I entered saying " Why don't your parents give her something she looks like she's in a lot of pain" while saying this i put my hand on the girls head and she's burning up and coughing
The young boy looked at me and and sniffled " They can't they died when they went out looking for food, and no one has herbs to help so if your sick you just have hope your lucky enough"
The little girls weakly spoke " Don't worry big brother I'm fine, it will go away soon and I'll feel better" she smiled while saying this to her brother making him cry while gritting his teeth
This is worse than I thought. These children are going to die if things don't change, well since I already said I'll make these people mine. I have to make sure their living situation changes.
I went outside and used seed creation taking off one D.E and then used Divine energy to modify the plant making it absorb the essence of nature then I scanned it trying to attuned it with the intent to to heal .

She then spoke while sleeping " Thank you" and calmly fell back asleep looking a her face that was wincing in pain looked relieved.
