Clyde stormed through the dust and shattered debris, dragging the very painting Arman had once given Ryley behind him.
His blue eyes gleamed with a cold, furious light as he suddenly hurled the canvas forward.
It skidded violently across the cold floor before coming to a halt directly before the altar.
"You coward…" Clyde snarled, his voice thick with rage. "Instead of facing me head-on, you went after my wife!"
A wide smirk spread across Arman's face.
He slowly lifted his head as he stepped away from the altar, his vicious gaze locking onto Clyde's furious expression. Then he crouched and picked up the fallen painting.
"Well… I never meant to go after you through him." He brushed the dust from the canvas almost casually. "All I did was take a peek into Mr. Ryley's future."
Arman's smile widened as he continued.
"And I happened to hear something rather interesting."
He chuckled under his breath.
"So... I channeled his voice into your dream."
Clyde's expression darkened.
