As my grandpa drove to the next location, I just checked on my phone to see what my mates were doing. It looked like they were having the time of their lives, then I saw pictures of Mia and Ryan.
Mia and Ryan were Childhood friends and we went to the same school everytime and we even were in the same classes, Ryan was a guy that was trusting but Mia, she was someone that I fell in love with.
I looked outside since there was nothing to do in the car with no Wifi, I didn't bother playing any games because I didn't focus on stuff like that, made me regret not even having a chance to try it out.
Grandpa saw how depressing it was for me so he decided to sing a song for me, "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are grey, you never know dear, how much I love you, so please don't take my sunshine, away from me".
It was unfair, he knew that It was my favourite song, and that i never hate it for what it meant. Sure I was a jerk but still, this song was the only thing that made me feel connected to grandpa.
I couldn't help but just smile, then me and him sang that song together until we got to our next destination but first, my grandpa had to refill the tank, I didn't mind, but he was a bit short.
He asked me if I had any money and luckily I did, but I didn't want to use it, he said he would pay me back so I trusted him, he said he needed more than $30, I was shocked then I trusted him so I gave it.
After that we sang the song again but then there was someone who needed help, she had no fuel and no money, grandpa wanted her to come with us but I didn't but he told me to get use to it.
She climbed inside while apologising, grandpa didn't mind but I did, after that I didn't feel like even singing the song, how selfish I use to be, I changed so much after that and you'll see why.
She told grandpa to drop her off to where she was going, it turned out that she was going with us, she said she needed to go see her daughter. Grandpa drove fast and when I mean fast, I mean going through the speed limit.
I should at least tell you where we were going, we were going to Rivermore, it was known for its incredible hot springs and the best place where movie actors would be shooting a film.
As we got there, she immediately went inside a small hospital, as for me I went around to look at the incredible sights, while my grandpa was taking pictures of me sightseeing.
It looked fun so I took some funny pictures of grandpa.
