She asked if I was going to be there to which I replied with, "Yeah I'm going to be there with my uh .... I mean I'm going to be there by myself, I see you there".
I acted like an idiot because of how I did want to mention my grandpa, but as I ignore that, I was focused on getting to hit the high road, I told grandpa that I was going to bed early.

We spent rest of the day on the beach until sunset, as for me and grandpa, we were wiped out from all that fun, I was having such a good time that I forgot about the festival.
