Most sects maintained rigid housing assignments and disciples lived according to rank. Elders occupied designated areas and permissions were required to wander around as records were maintained.
But the Wild Peak seemed completely unconcerned with such things. If a disciple wanted a room, they found one. If they wanted to move somewhere else, they moved. If they wanted to live halfway up a cliff, nobody stopped them.
And if they wanted to build a hut in the forest, nobody cared.
The only real rule seemed to be not destroying someone else's home and even that sounded negotiable.
