Little Bull nodded honestly and the room quickly erupted into laughter.
High Elder Palm Saber wiped tears from his eyes. "He's serious."
"Of course he's serious." another elder replied. "He doesn't know any better."
High Elder Shatter Peak finally shook his head. "Our Wild Peak has around ten thousand members in the Inner Court."
Little Bull froze and the piece of meat halfway to his mouth stopped moving.
"Ten thousand?" he asked.
The elder nodded. "Ten thousand."
Even Lin Mu felt surprised as he had expected several thousand. Ten thousand was still far more than anticipated. Little Bull scratched his head. "Where are they?"
That question caused another wave of laughter.
A disciple pointed toward the mountain outside. "They're everywhere."
"Training."
"Fighting."
"Hunting beasts."
"Breaking mountains."
"Breaking each other."
"Getting lost."
"Causing trouble."
"Being punished."
"Causing more trouble."
The answers came from all directions.
