Is It Wrong to Try to Tame Monsters in a Dungeon? (Written seriously)

Draconic_Terror
Important Notice: This is a more seriously written version of my other story of the same title. It is written in an attempt to realize the potential I was wasting in the idea of a tamer. It was only possible because RikuKage helped me with suggestions for the foundation of the plot and the balancing of the skills. Go check out his works, might see something you want to read there. Important Notice 2: The style might change as this is the first story I tried to find a specific style with. I had ruined it by using a bot to assist me on the first 6 or so chapters. The style change might be somewhat drastic because of that. Once I found a style to settle with, I will rewrite the early chapters in said style. -------------- Finding himself in a world he knows little about, a young adult tries to find his bearings. He ventures the wilds in the company of unlikely people and heads to the place where all gather, where many trials await him. -------------- What you will read below is included in the auxiliary disclaimer chapter that will include other things. Though not necessary, I recommend reading the disclaimer chapter. Currently, the update schedule is going to be in batches, where I upload a chapter per day (8PM GMT+3) starting from Saturdays, until the chapters of that batch run out. Another very important thing is that the story starts with a lot of build-up. Be aware that the first 17 chapters will be before he reaches Orario. Disclaimer: Any reference I make in this fanfiction does not belong to me. It belongs to its respective owner.

Cosmic Legacy ( The invincible Fan-Fiction)

Five years before the world breaks, a new light is born in a rainy alleyway. Mira was just a girl with a dead-end job at The Daily Grind and a "superpower" that was barely worth a footnote: a flickering, paper-thin force field that couldn't even stop a low-caliber bullet. In a world protected by the legendary Guardians of the Globe and the god-like Omni-Man, Mira was perfectly content to stay in the background. Then, the stars fell. When a dying alien warrior collapses at her feet, he doesn't just pass her a weapon—he grafts three thousand years of cosmic evolution onto her soul. Now, Mira is the sixty-fifth host of the Star-Forged Legacy, an ancient power that records, adapts, and supercharges the abilities of its host. Her "useless" force field has evolved into total kinetic control, backed by a reservoir of cosmic magic and physical might that she’s only beginning to tap into. But she isn’t alone in her own head. Locked in her mind are two spectral mentors who won't stop bickering: * Lyra: A cold, calculating architect of starlight who wants to treat every fight like a math equation. * Kaelen: A bloodthirsty ancient vanguard who thinks every problem can be solved with a hard-light spear to the face. The World is Watching. As Mira struggles to balance latte art with planetary defense, she catches the eye of Cecil Stedman. The Director of the GDA sees her as the ultimate insurance policy—a new shield for Earth. But across the void, the Hollow King has felt the Legacy ignite. He is sending his legions, one wave at a time, to reclaim his prize. The Viltrumites think the Legacy is a myth. The Guardians think she’s just another "Newbie." They’re all wrong. The war for the cosmos has come to Earth, and the "Daily Grind" is about to get a whole lot more violent.

Re: Tales of the Rune-Tech Sage

In a realm rife with war and conquest, only the strong and cunning may survive. Planar travel has become the determinant of strength. Nobles and powerhouses travel the myriad planes, invading and plundering them to increase their personal strength, grow their military might and fund their endless wars. A systems engineer and lifelong web novel reader is reborn as Alex Fury—a young noble dismissed as talentless by his own family. Struggling to awaken his family’s bloodline talents and the warrior potential his family expects of him, Alex is sent off to a Mage Tower. His fate is clear: forge a path for himself... or lose everything. Blending the system engineering and web novel knowledge of his previous life with the Rune knowledge of his new world, Alex Fury creates a revolutionary new form of magic unique to him... RuneTech Magic. From runic artificial Intelligence to interplanar communication networks; From rune-powered super soldiers to rune-crafted power armours (and mechas), from new energy sources to perpetual energy. With this marriage of science, technology and the arcane, Alex will usher in advances previously thought unattainable in his new world, and his old one. This is a tale of power, rebellion, ambition- and legacy. Empires will rise to crush him. Worlds will try to deny him. But with intellect, invention- and just a spark of madness, he will carve his name into history. Witness the birth of the Rune-Tech Sage, and the beginning of a legend that will echo across worlds.
