The Six-Winged being flung his large sleeve without a second thought, and immediately an icy light surged out, pulling the Ice Phoenix to his side. A misty cold air appeared as a crystal-clear bead sprayed out, rolled to the ground, then transformed into the Eight-Winged Centipede piercing through the mountain belly, turning into a white line, and vanished completely.
A meal's time later, a sound broke the sky from afar, and a young man in black robes appeared, treading on rainbow-colored clouds.
Though his large sleeves fluttered and his movements were slow, his speed wasn't considered slow. After several flashes, he bizarrely arrived atop a small hill.
The young man in black robes first cast a blank look down toward the small hill, then suddenly his face broke into a cold smile, and with a slight tap of his foot, the rainbow clouds beneath him shot into the sky once more.
The direction he pursued was precisely the spot where the Six-Winged being and others had previously fled.
