Chapter 34 - chapter 34 moonlight style

Mike medusa and sota sat quietly on top of a mountain.

Birds flew across the sky while their soft chirping echoed through the air.

"Chuu…"

"Chuu…"

Cold wind flowed across the mountain carrying a slight touch of moisture.

Meanwhile—

Sota sat on the ground with a confused expression.

He kept staring strangely at Mike and Medusa.

Suddenly—

Medusa raised his hand.

A massive magic circle appeared in front of him.

Ancient symbols glowed brightly across the circle.

"This is a First Stage Spell."

"White Dragon Healing Spell."

A soft white light spread around his hand.

"This is an important spell."

"It's used very often during battles."

The moment Mike saw Medusa using healing magic—

His eyes widened in shock.

"Woooah…"

"You can use healing spells too?"

"That's awesome!"

Medusa calmly dismissed the magic circle.

"I only know the First Stage healing spell."

"Nothing beyond that."

Before the conversation could continue—

Sota suddenly raised his hand seriously.

"How do you use magic energy?"

Medusa opened his mouth to answer—

But Mike instantly interrupted him.

"I'll explain!"

He quickly stretched his hand forward.

"First…"

"Put your hand out like this."

Sota copied Mike's posture.

Then Mike spoke calmly,

"Feel the blood flowing inside your body."

Sota slowly closed his eyes.

"And just like you feel your blood…"

"You have to feel magic energy too."

The moment Mike said that—

A white light slowly gathered around his palm.

Mana particles spread through the air.

Tiny lights floated everywhere like stars descending from the sky.

Sota's eyes reflected that beautiful scene.

Mike's voice echoed softly around him.

"This is the raw form of magic energy."

"It's called…"

"The True Form of Mana."

Behind them—

Medusa silently watched everything.

"Good…"

"Teaching Sota will become easier now."

Suddenly—

Mike closed his fist tightly.

The surrounding mana instantly scattered away.

"Shuuuu…"

"Shuuuu…"

Then he lowered his hand and grinned.

"Alright."

"Now you try."

Sota closed his eyes again and focused deeply.

He tried to feel the flow of blood inside his body while gathering mana into his fist.

"Uhhh…"

"Come on…"

"Ahhhh…"

Several moments passed.

Nothing happened.

Silence spread everywhere.

Mike stared carefully before scratching his head awkwardly.

"Ahhh…"

"Nothing happened."

Sota immediately opened his eyes and looked at his empty hands.

"AHHHHH!"

"This is so hard!"

Mike walked toward him while laughing.

"It's okay."

"I wasn't expecting much from you anyway."

The moment Sota heard that—

He exploded in anger.

"What do you mean by that?!"

"You think I can't do it?!"

Mike instantly raised both hands defensively.

"No, no!"

"That's not what I meant!"

Before they could argue further—

Medusa suddenly spoke in a heavy voice.

"You should learn sword styles first."

Mike immediately crossed his arms.

"Yeah…"

"That might actually work."

"But which style should we teach him first?"

The moment Sota heard the words "sword style"—

His eyes lit up.

"There are different sword styles?!"

Mike walked beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"There used to be many styles long ago…"

"But in today's era…"

"Only seven sword styles remain."

Medusa placed a hand on his chin and began thinking.

"Hmmm…"

"His body isn't strong enough yet…"

"So the best choice would be…"

He slowly raised his hand.

"Moonlight Style."

Mike quickly leaned toward Medusa and whispered,

"Heeey…"

"Shouldn't we start with something easier?"

But Medusa calmly replied,

"The beginning steps of Moonlight Style are easy."

"So it's the best choice for now."

Mike turned back toward Sota with a grin.

"Sota…"

"You're going to learn swordsmanship now."

Then suddenly—

Mike froze.

"But…"

"Medusa, we don't even have a sword."

Without answering—

Medusa walked toward a large stone.

Dark energy emerged from inside his body as he pulled out a black sword.

SWISH—

With a single strike—

He cut the massive stone into the shape of a sword.

Sota's eyes sparkled immediately.

"WOOOOAH!"

"That's amazing!"

Medusa picked up the stone sword and handed it to Sota.

"Come."

"Training begins now."

Sota grabbed the sword with a serious expression.

"I'll give it my all."

Suddenly—

Mike stepped beside him.

"Move your right foot backward."

"Keep balance with your left side."

"And hold the sword straight."

Sota copied his posture carefully.

"Like this?"

Mike leaned closer and observed him carefully.

"Hmmm…"

"Yeah."

"That's correct."

"Now slowly move forward."

"But don't loosen your grip on the sword."

Sota slowly stepped forward.

"Like this?"

Mike watched carefully before sighing.

"Your footsteps are fine…"

"But your grip is getting weaker."

Then he burst into laughter.

"Hahaha!"

"At this rate, you'll need grip training before sword training!"

Annoyed—

Sota instantly swung his sword toward Mike.

But Mike casually dodged it with ease.

At that moment—

Medusa shouted loudly,

"Calm down!"

"And focus on training!"

Sota quickly hid the sword behind his back.

"Mike keeps disturbing me!"

"I can't concentrate because of him!"

Mike suddenly walked toward Medusa seriously.

"We should show him a technique."

"So he understands what kind of art he's learning."

Medusa silently agreed.

"Fine."

The moment Mike heard that—

He walked forward and stood silently in one place.

His entire presence changed.

"Watch carefully."

Sota's eyes locked onto Mike.

Mike's voice became heavy as it echoed across the mountain.

"This…"

"Is a mastery that takes people years to learn."

He slowly raised his sword.

"Moonlight First Technique…"

"The Bloodmoon Slave."
