Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 2

The train didn't slow down.

The keypad was useless.

And ahead…

There was only darkness waiting at the end of the river.

What should I do—

what should I do—

I look around,

anything useful,

anything, anything that could save me.

This is all wrong,

wrong.

I sighed as I calmed myself down.

I won't die like this.

I tapped three times on the small window of the door.

It's breakable.

I look around,

looking down on seats.

I found a metal pipe.

It's enough.

10 seconds.

I rushed to the window.

I tried to break the window.

1 time,

2 times,

3 times,

4 times.

It broke. The glass scratched me.

As I reached my hand out to the button—

please…

please work…

the glass got through my skin into my veins.

I could see the meat and blood.

As my hand reached out for the button,

the train was nearly at the stop.

5 seconds left until the train passed through the station…

Beep.

I could hear the train wheels scratch

as it slowly stopped.

It was a close call…

I looked at my hand.

There was flesh.

It seemed like some kind of monster scratched my hand.

The blood,

the meat,

the pain…

The doors opened.

As I got out,

I saw a person standing at a door.

A train conductor's clothes?

Should I approach him or not?

It would be logical if I did

in this weird situation.

I looked at my hand.

What the hell…

the previous wound had disappeared

like it never happened.

As I looked up,

I saw that weird train conductor

in front of me.

He took off his cap and bowed with it.

"Welcome to Sillia."

"What the hell?"

Of course, it was my first answer. I am a normal human being, after all.

"You must be confused, of course.

Come along with me.

It would be better if I explained

while we get out of this station."

If it was in the normal human world,

I would have never gone with a stranger.

But in this situation like this,

it's good to be with someone rather than be alone.

And also,

he… looked…

.

.

.

like a tomato.

Like his hair is red.

He smiled at me

as we started walking towards the door in the station.

As he closed the door,

the last scene I saw

was the train.

I was now in a tunnel.

The walls were glass,

and outside the glass was like water.

The place was like an aquarium, but with no fish, that is.
