Chen Wei's pulse raced as he read the panel. If he were to leap into the fray now, facing these five Level Two Mutated Fierce Beasts would spell certain doom.
"Judging by the Wolf King and the four Fierce Tigers, a battle is inevitable. Perfect, I'll just wait and cash in on the aftermath!"
His gaze fixed on the five Mutated Fierce Beasts ahead, Chen Wei's eyes glinted with a wild intensity.
Both the Wolf King and the Mutated Fierce Tigers were immensely robust, though the tigers were slightly smaller in stature compared to the wolf.
But the tigers had strength in numbers—four formidable beasts.
It made Chen Wei think back to Earth's creatures before the apocalypse: tigers were typically solitary, while wolves lived in packs.
Post-apocalypse, their behaviors had reversed.
Still, this was merely a fluke, an anomaly Chen Wei had stumbled upon. The Mutated Fierce Wolves generally maintained their pack instincts.
This one, however, was a solitary wolf.

"Roar!"
The four Fierce Tigers encircled the lone wolf, but it was the wolf who displayed greater savagery. With a thunderous roar, it lunged at one of the tigers.
In a flash, all five fierce beasts were locked in combat.
Chen Wei watched, heart pounding, as the beasts clashed with deafening roars, the kings of beasts in a ferocious showdown. The four Fierce Tigers besieged the lone wolf.
One tiger sprang, its claws sinking into the wolf's spine, teeth clamping onto its back.
Another tiger viciously attacked the wolf's belly, tearing away a large chunk of flesh with a brutal bite.
"Awoo..."
The lone wolf's anguished howl pierced the air as its eyes blazed with an even more vicious light, slowly turning a deep, blood red.
"Roar!"
With remarkable agility, the lone wolf clamped its jaws onto the neck of a fierce tiger. Its razor-sharp teeth effortlessly displaced the tiger's head, severing it in one swift motion.
"Hiss! Those teeth are incredibly sharp."
Perched on a tree branch, Chen Wei witnessed the scene unfold before him and involuntarily sucked in a breath of cold air.
The fierce wolf's teeth could easily slice through titanium alloy steel plates, a feat that his farm's Level 1 defense could never withstand.
Having dispatched one fierce tiger, the lone wolf's burden lightened, yet it remained on the defensive. But steadily, the wolf was turning the tide in its favor.
The lone wolf burst into a sprint, leaping dozens of meters in a single bound. After a few more leaps, it soared into the sky. As it descended, the wolf rolled, flinging the fierce tiger from its back with a swift motion.
Without hesitation, the lone wolf pursued and viciously attacked the fallen tiger.
A peak Second Grade facing off against an ordinary Second Grade fierce beast was an absolute mismatch.
The tiger barely put up a fight before the lone wolf crushed its neck between its jaws.
"Wow, this guy's got some serious smarts for an evolved creature, actually employing techniques and tactics."
Chen Wei's gaze locked onto the lone wolf, his eyes flashing with a dangerous intensity. He couldn't afford to let this lone wolf grow any stronger; the threat to him would be immense.
His current level of cultivation was no match for the lone wolf.
"Roar..."
The remaining two tigers, demoralized by the loss of their companions, emitted a low growl and turned tail to flee.

But the lone wolf was relentless, giving no quarter as it chased them down.

"Now, when is the prime moment to strike? I can't let this opportunity slip by."
Chen Wei's mind raced as he assessed the situation, then he unleashed the Lightning Step, swiftly pursuing his target.
Amidst the pursuit, a roar echoed from ahead.
An ordinary person, upon hearing such a fearsome roar from a mutated beast, would be petrified with fear, unlike Chen Wei who dared to continue the chase.
Truth be told, Chen Wei would have preferred not to follow, but he had no choice.
It was a matter of life and death between him and the Lone Wolf.
Thus, Chen Wei was left without options.
Upon arrival, he discovered the carcasses of two fierce tigers, and the Wolf King's body was quivering, seemingly on the brink of collapse.
The Lone Wolf's abdomen was missing a large chunk of flesh, with blood gushing wildly from the wound.
Moreover, its back was riddled with scars, and one of its legs was lame.
At that moment, the Lone Wolf limped towards one of the tigers, then clamped its jaws around the tiger's head.
It seemed intent on consuming the crystal nucleus within the tiger's skull.
"Now is the time!"
A gleam of determination flashed in Chen Wei's eyes as he activated the Lightning Step, his speed reaching its peak. He streaked across the distance like a bolt of lightning.
Reaching a spot twenty meters from the Lone Wolf, Chen Wei stomped the earth, propelling himself into the air.
The Lone Wolf, sensing something amiss, lifted its head towards Chen Wei.
But before it could react, Chen Wei had already closed the gap.
"Mountain Splitting Palm!"
With a fierce cry, Chen Wei's aura erupted as he channeled all his strength into a palm strike aimed at the Lone Wolf's head.
With a thunderous impact, his palm connected, driving the Lone Wolf's head into the dirt.
The beast's limbs flailed wildly in a desperate attempt to fight back.
"Not dead yet?"
Seeing this, a ruthless glint appeared in Chen Wei's eyes. He gave the Lone Wolf no quarter, seizing one of its legs and hurling it with tremendous force.
"Ahh!" Chen Wei bellowed, mustering every ounce of his strength. In a single moment, he hoisted the massive Wolf King, as large as a small cabin, into the air. With a fierce heave, he hurled the beast against the trunk of an immense tree that loomed behind him.
