Chapter 4 - A Wager of Dignity

"Let me go! Erick, stop it!"

Elly struggled with all her might, her small hands striking his hard, broad chest repeatedly. Yet, every movement was in vain. Erick was like an unyielding stone wall. He continued to press forward, ignoring her rejection. His kisses landed on her neck, rough and demanding, an assault born not of love, but of a rage that sought to destroy.

Elly's body trembled violently beneath Erick's weight. Nausea and a sense of suffocation overwhelmed her, but amidst the chaos, the image of Felix waiting at the childcare center flashed through her mind. Her phone was destroyed. She had no way to contact anyone. She was trapped.

Suddenly, Elly stopped fighting. Her body, once rigid with resistance, went limp in sudden surrender.

"How much will you pay me?"

Elly's voice was flat, hollow, and cold, like the voice of someone who had just yielded to fate.

Erick stopped his movements instantly. He looked up, staring at Elly's deathly pale face and empty eyes. Silence enveloped them both, leaving only the sound of Erick's ragged breathing.

"How much do you want?" Erick asked, his voice low and laden with contempt. He looked at her as if she were a piece of loathsome merchandise. "Name your price, Elly."

Elly allowed the insult to shred her heart into pieces. Her tears flowed freely, soaking the pillow beneath her head, but she no longer sobbed. She only wanted this to be over.

"I will serve you..." Elly paused, her voice shaking under the weight of an immense humiliation. "But after that, let me go. Never show your face to me again."

Erick froze at the sight of the clear crystals flooding Elly's cheeks. There was a dark satisfaction in his heart for having conquered her, yet on the other side, there was a strange ache at the realization that Elly would rather sell herself than beg for his forgiveness.

Erick stared at Elly with the gaze of an unsatisfied predator. "I'll let you go once I'm satisfied," he hissed, his voice sounding like a terrifying promise. "But I don't promise to stay away. You have no right to dictate when I come or go."

Elly did not argue further. She had reached a point where her emotional pain had turned to stone. She glanced at the clock on the wall with a hollow gaze. "I'll give you fifteen minutes," she said, her voice vacant. "I will serve you... but only for fifteen minutes. No more."

With hands that shook violently, Elly began to strip off her own hotel uniform. One by one the buttons opened, revealing pale skin beneath the dim light of the room.

"Is that man... that man named Felix, so important to you?" Erick's jaw tightened until the veins in his neck bulged. His anger flared again, hotter than before, seeing how Elly was willing to throw away the remnants of her dignity just to make time for another man.

Elly did not flinch. She ignored the question, focusing on her clumsy movements. Finally, she discarded the last of her clothing, leaving herself entirely exposed before Erick's hateful eyes. With a movement that felt like a death execution, Elly lay back and opened her legs, a symbol of surrender that humiliated her more than anything else.

"Do it quickly," Elly whispered, the words catching in her throat as she fought back a sob. "You only have fifteen minutes."

Erick's fury exploded beyond the limits of sanity. He didn't feel like a winner; he felt betrayed by Elly's compliance. "I'm going to tear you apart," Erick growled in Elly's ear, his voice hoarse with vendetta. "I'll make sure you won't be able to sleep with another man after this!"

Without a shred of gentleness, Erick penetrated her roughly, thrusting as if he wanted to shatter whatever was left inside.

"Aaghh!" Elly shrieked, a cry of pain that tore through her. Her face contorted and her eyes squeezed shut as an excruciating stinging sensation attacked her body.

"Does it hurt?" Erick whispered cruelly, his breath hot against the crook of her neck. He continued to drive into her with full force, showing no mercy. "I'll rip you open, until you can't even walk to that man!"

A haunting silence filled the room, punctuated only by the sound of friction and Erick's heavy breathing. Elly had stopped making noise; her voice seemed to have been buried along with her shattered pride. She could only wince, biting her lower lip, fighting desperately to hold back the screams of agony. Her fingers gripped the bedsheets so tightly it seemed as if they were helping her endure the searing pain.

Erick continued with a cruel intensity, ignoring the whimpers of the woman pinned beneath him. Finally, a long, heavy groan marked the end of the ordeal. Erick reached his climax and collapsed beside Elly, still gasping for air.

Without waiting a single second to recover her breath, Elly scrambled up. Her body shook violently as she tried to stand. A sharp, stinging pain shot through her thighs, nearly causing her to collapse. With staggering steps and tears that continued to fall silently, she hurriedly gathered her scattered clothes, putting them on with clumsy, trembling hands.

Elly then knelt on the cold floor, her fingers fumbling beneath the desk to retrieve her dead, cracked phone. She clutched the lifeless object to her chest, her sobs breaking out in a heartrending silence. Forgive me, Felix... Forgive Mama, she lamented internally. Her mind drifted to the small face of her son, who was likely still waiting to be picked up.

Before Elly could stand, a dark shadow loomed over her. A moment later, dollar bills began to fall like rain around her, slapping against her face and snagging in her matted hair.

"I think this is enough to pay for your short service," Erick's voice said, cold and full of disdain. "Take it, and go see your precious man."

Elly remained bowed, her eyes closed, the humiliation piercing her heart. Yet, with every ounce of dignity she had left, she struggled to remain composed.
