As I mentioned before, we're taking a little break with this transition chapter... or rather, an "FAQ / Idea Box" chapter where you can throw all your suggestions for jokes, trolls, or plot changes my way.
Even though the previous chapter was a bit serious, don't forget that this story is first and foremost a comedy. Now is the time to let loose!
⚠️ CRUCIAL REMINDER: The "Regulus" Factor
Never forget this detail that changes everything for your theories: Kurisu is in Regulus Corneas' body.
He possesses the Authority of Greed (invincibility, stopping time on his own body and objects, etc.). Keep that in mind when you propose scenes, because it allows for situations that are totally broken or straight-up ridiculous.
🔮 TEASING: What's coming in Arc 3
Kurisu is going to play a more or less significant role in this arc, and I already have a few paths in mind:
Normally, in his role as an Archbishop, Regulus is supposed to intervene at the end of Arc 3 against Rem and Crusch. Even with my changes, that moment might still happen... or maybe not?
Who knows, maybe our Kurisu will have a chat with a certain little platinum-haired loli (Pandora)?
He'll also pull off some other stunts, like maybe cutting the White Whale in half... but I won't say anything more! XD

This is where you come in. For the next chapter (which is going to be really funny and epic, believe me), Kurisu will be acting during the presentation of the candidates in the capital.
1. Trolls and Jokes 👑
Do you have any ideas for lines or provocations he could drop?
Examples: Trolling with the Sacred Dragon Tablet, or revealing secrets only he knows (like calling Priscilla by her real name, Prisca Benedict, just to make her rage). Don't be shy!
2. The Fights: Kurisu vs. The Rest of the World ⚔️
Subaru and Julius might face off (or maybe not, who knows?).
Do you want Kurisu to intervene and destroy/humiliate Julius?
Or maybe he should go all out against Reinhard? Or both at the same time? (Reread Chapter 3 to see the conversation they had—it gives some hints).
3. The Butterfly Effect: Rem's Destiny 🦋
This is where things get serious. If you have ideas to change the story, let me know, but know they will have consequences. Kurisu and I (Author-san) will act based on your choices.
Option A: She stays awake. She remains active in Arc 4, but in exchange, a new antagonist will make an appearance (you'll be surprised...).
Option B: For plot reasons, she stays alive (not erased), but still falls into a coma. Arc 4 then proceeds without too many major changes.
4. "Trash Loops" for the hell of it 🗑️ You can ask me for unexpected events that make a loop fail and kill Subaru just for the pleasure of seeing an absurd, gory, or hilarious situation. Since the loop gets erased anyway, anything goes!
🚀 LAST MINUTE ADDITIONS: The "Side-Story" Corner!
To beef up this transition chapter, I've added a few points that have been rattling around in my head. Let's get some high-level interaction going!
🧠 The Law of the "Game Master": Why Kurisu isn't your crutch
To prevent the story from becoming too easy, Kurisu has set a golden rule for himself: The Anti-Boredom Rule.
He will only help Subaru if the "Script" becomes repetitive or if Subaru gets stuck in a failure loop with zero imagination. If he gives info, it'll be cryptic (e.g., "There's a whale in the sky and a sloth underground, deal with it"). Of course, he'd never say exactly that; it's just an example.
What do you think? Do you prefer a Kurisu who helps in "toxic coach" mode, or a Kurisu who occasionally sabotages events just to balance the match if Subaru gets too cocky?
🎭 The "Big Brother" Gambit (Royal Selection)
I had an idea for Kurisu's entrance at the capital. Instead of showing up in Archbishop mode, he'd appear right after Subaru humiliates himself in front of everyone.
The Concept: He acts like a jaded big brother. "Subaru, I already told you humility isn't a free DLC; you have to farm for it."
By treating him like his little brother in front of the Sages and candidates, he creates massive doubt: if this monster is his brother, where does Subaru really come from?
Any dialogue ideas for this scene? Do you want him to be protective or put him on blast even more?
⚔️ The Duel of Pigeons: Julius's "Lesson"
For the duel against Julius, I have a variation: Kurisu refuses Julius's challenge with a yawn. "Fight you? That would be like trying to play chess against a pigeon. You're just going to knock over the pieces and think you've won."
Instead, he pushes Subaru (even battered) to fight by whispering some dirty advice in his ear. Subaru gets wrecked, but with a strategy so "filthy" that Julius is left scarred by it. Interested?
📱 Kurisu's "Stock": Items from our world
Kurisu has a modern mentality, so why not traumatize the locals with some tech?
Do you want him to pull out a Smartphone to film Priscilla's or Anastasia's reaction?
Imagine the Knights' faces when a rap song or a YouTube video starts playing out of nowhere. What "modern" objects would you like him to bring back to troll the lore?
🦋 Butterfly Effect: Crusch's Sacrifice?
We talked about Rem, but let's talk about Crusch Karsten.
If Kurisu decides to save Rem, do we let Crusch suffer her usual fate?
Or do we go for the "double rescue" but with a horrible trade-off elsewhere (like the destruction of another character you love)? Chaos always has a price.
📝 [RP MOMENT]: Kurisu glancest at your notes...
(The scene takes place in his manor in the Capital. Kurisu is sitting in a chair, holding a strange parchment that seems to fill with text on its own.)
Kurisu: « Let's see what these "readers" have come up with now... »
(He scans the parchment, a smirk playing on his lips)
Kurisu: « "Call Priscilla by her real name"? Heh, petty. I like it; that'll shatter her ego in two seconds. "Destroy Reinhard"? You guys are funny, he won't even be able to touch me lol... On the other hand, the pigeon idea for Julius... »
(He tucks the parchment into his jacket and stands up, stretching)
Kurisu: « Keep filling that paper. The more twisted it is, the more likely I am to have fun at the Sages' meeting. Author-san, we have a script to break. »

📝 Final Word
You can ask me for anything: give Subaru a powerful weapon, change a specific lore point, etc. This story lives between the author and the readers.
Don't forget: I will be the final judge on whether or not I integrate an idea (depending on if it's funny and easy to implement), but YOU HAVE THE POWER to influence the plot.
