Chapter 1 - Chapter 2: The Awakening of the Chosen

The night was torn apart by a lightning strike—so powerful it seemed to split the sky in two. Five orphanages, scattered across the city, were struck almost simultaneously.

Jon, 16, raced through empty streets on his motorcycle when lightning struck him squarely in the chest. He screamed in pain as an inferno coursed through his body, making him stagger. The bike skidded, hit the curb, and everything went black.

Miles away, 15-year-old Elisa felt an icy pain surge through her veins. Her room shimmered with violet frost that danced like frozen flames. Every breath she drew crystallized the air around her. She screamed, terrified, before losing consciousness.

Seventeen-year-old Torrent was thrown violently against a wall. Objects around him levitated silently. He realized he no longer touched the ground—his mind could manipulate matter at a distance.

Eighteen-year-old Eric felt his muscles swell, his skin buzzing with an unimaginable power. Raw strength surged through him, and when he struck the floor, a crater formed beneath his feet.

Seventeen-year-old Charls saw circuits and lights come alive around his devices. Information streamed past his eyes, flowing into him as if he had always been connected to every piece of technology.

All five were rushed to the hospital, unconscious. Doctors, helpless, declared them dead.

Six hours later, a strange miracle occurred. The teenagers awoke… changed. Their bodies radiated energy, their minds awakened to supernatural forces.

Jon felt a fire ignite within him, licking his skin without burning it. Elisa discovered violet ice forming and spinning around her hands. Torrent made a chair and medical instruments hover in the air, realizing the extent of his telekinesis. Eric effortlessly shattered the metal bars restraining him, testing his superhuman strength. Charls made monitors and devices whirl around him, absorbing information as though it had always belonged to him.

But the world outside had already shifted. The American Souls, a secret agency specialized in anomalies, detected these new powers and immediately began pursuing them. Helicopters, masked agents, and drones scoured the city, intent on capturing the adolescents for study.

Meanwhile, a deep rumble shook the city. Skyscrapers trembled as a vibration emanated from the river that ran through the city. Gonzalobrama, awakened by the lightning chaos, emerged from the depths. Its frozen scales reflected the city lights as it wreaked havoc. Cars were crushed, buildings collapsed, and people ran in panic.

Jon watched the monster from a construction site rooftop. His heart pounded. He had never seen anything so enormous, so terrifying. But he knew he couldn't just watch. Flames ignited around his hands, intense and blinding.

He leaped toward Gonzalobrama, delivering a blazing kick. The creature stumbled, swayed… and fell into the river. Surveillance cameras captured every moment. Television broadcasts, social media, phones—everyone saw the impossible: a teenager had repelled a legendary monster.

Elisa, Torrent, Eric, and Charls saw the footage in their respective locations and realized immediately that they were not alone. Something connected them: their powers, their destinies… and the ancient threat that had returned.

The following hours were a chaotic mix of escape and discovery. Jon decided to hide on the rooftops, observing Gonzalobrama. Elisa, fascinated and frightened, experimented with her violet ice, creating sharp crystal spheres to defend herself. Torrent practiced levitating objects, learning control over his power. Eric tested his strength, lifting cars to protect himself. Charls hacked cameras and streetlights, scrambling signals and blocking agents from the American Souls.

But Gonzalobrama was relentless. The creature advanced into downtown, destroying everything in its path. The rumble of its steps shook the buildings, and its icy roar echoed across the city.

Jon made a bold decision. He charged at the monster again, flames erupting from his feet to slow it down. The beast struck the water with a colossal wave, but Jon managed to push it back slightly with his fire. Passersby recorded everything; social media exploded with stories of a teen facing a millennia-old monster.

Seeing Jon in action, Elisa, Torrent, Eric, and Charls knew they had to unite. The videos, livestreams, and social media alerts pointed them to him. It was the signal: they were no longer alone. Their mission was clear. They had to join forces to face Gonzalobrama and protect the city.

Their first meeting was chaotic. Jon, covered in soot and embers, met the others on a rooftop overlooking the river where the creature had fallen. Introductions were rushed. Jon explained his fire power. Elisa demonstrated her violet ice. Torrent levitated debris in a dazzling display. Eric lifted a massive concrete slab to show his superhuman strength. Charls controlled a hovering drone to demonstrate his technological mastery.

They were different, powerful… but inexperienced. Gonzalobrama, sensing the surge of energy, began to rise from the river again. The water churned violently. Its glowing eyes locked onto the teenagers.

Jon looked at his companions. "We have no choice. We have to stop it… together."

Elisa nodded, her hands glowing with violet frost. Torrent spun debris around them like a protective cyclone. Eric clenched his fists, ready to strike. Charls took control of streetlights and nearby screens to confuse the monster.

Gonzalobrama roared, and the river water surged like a tidal wave. The teens were thrown onto the rooftop, but they remained standing. This was their first real confrontation, and each understood that their powers were the only chance to save the city… and perhaps the world.

As the moonlight bathed the chaotic scene, a moment of silence fell. The five teenagers looked at one another. They weren't heroes… not yet. But something had been born tonight: an alliance, an unbreakable bond, and the beginning of a battle that would change history.

Gonzalobrama's roar rose once more. It was about to strike—and this time, it would destroy everything in its path.
