She clawed at his hands, but they were as unyielding as iron. Despite her ninety-pound weight, he held her aloft with one hand as if she were weightless—a display of strength that was as terrifying as it was impressive.
"Let me go!" she snapped, slapping his arm and glaring with pure venom.
The man didn't flinch. When she tried to deliver a sharp kick to his midsection, a powerful red tail lashed out from the water, binding her legs tight.
