Deep in the Nevada desert, under the illusion of decommissioned airspace, an operation codenamed Threshold was in progress.
A military scientist named Dr. Lydia Sufan was documenting anomalies in EEG patterns from ancient skulls recovered near Mount Ararat. The skulls weren't human.
Inside one of the specimens, lodged in calcified bone, they found a silicon wafer engraved with Aramaic script and binary code. The wafer, once activated, hijacked nearby computers, spelling one word repeatedly.
"Remember."

Jason looked stunned.
"Why would they defect?"
Zarah, now speaking in multi-layered tones:
"Because they loved you."
Naomi added, piecing together Amiel's sketches:

Each member of the bunker begins unlocking ancestral memory.
Reuben, the cook, remembers recipes taught by a woman who never aged. His grandmother. A Watcher in hiding.
Mikah, the mechanic, discovers blueprints in his sleep not of machines, but of DNA manipulation towers used in ancient Mesopotamia.

Lead Agent Kaelen Ives issues a code red.

Because Amiel once worked with them.
He helped build Project Seraphim's neural anchor a device designed to decode divine languages and extract prophecy from genetic memory.
He vanished after it succeeded.

CONVERSATION -THE BETRAYER'S RETURN
Amiel returns to the bunker. Scarred. Changed. Older somehow.
He has one word tattooed into his forearm in Hebrew.
"Tzofeh" The Watcher.
Zarah greets him first. No words. Just an embrace.
But Levi isn't convinced.
"You knew this would happen. You led us here."
Amiel nods. Then whispers:

Naomi: "What do you mean 'agreed'?"
Amiel looks at her with tears in his eyes.

"You all chose to descend to forget so that love, choice, pain, death, faith… could be experienced freely."
"He gave you the right to say no to Him. And this story… is the consequence."

The youngest in the bunker begin drawing symbols on the walls. Every child. Same symbols.
A perfect map of Earth… with twelve glowing points.
Mara panics. She knows what it means.
"Those are the Resonant Sites. Ancient temples hidden beneath cities."
"They weren't built to worship. They were built to contain God."
Suddenly, Jason sees it.
All the religions… all the wars… the colonialism, the Vatican, the Crusades…
"They weren't fighting each other. They were fighting over access."
"To Him."

Levi turns the ancient receiver Amiel gave him toward the sky.
No static.
No white noise.
