In the world of One Punch Man, City Z, inside a police station.
Standing before a mirror in the lobby, Jason adjusted his collar, his expression solemn.
The man in the reflection had black hair and blue eyes, strikingly handsome. At 1.95 meters tall, his powerful physique bore the marks of long training. His sharply defined features, paired with the dark uniform, gave him an imposing presence. Even a casual glance carried a natural sense of intimidation.
From the memories he had inherited, he knew that he was now a rookie officer, the lowest rank of patrol policeman.
Jason was a transmigrator. At the moment he crossed over, he awakened a psychic ability from the world of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure known as a Stand. His Stand was called Fantasy Cards. Its form was a stack of playing card-sized, peculiar cards. Their backs resembled a pitch-black cosmic galaxy. Its ability was to assign the concept of "cards" to objects, turning them into Fantasy Cards and allowing him to control the power within them.
A month had passed since his arrival. His soul and body had fully fused, and Fantasy Cards had awakened a second ability: Draw of Fate. Each day, he could randomly draw one Fantasy Card, and the number of draws could be accumulated.
Clearly, Fantasy Cards was not the kind of humanoid Stand that could rush in and unleash punches. Its base stats might be underwhelming, but weak stats often came with absurd abilities.
In Jason's view, controlling the power of cards was essentially rewriting reality through imagination. It was only one lucky draw away from becoming truly overpowered.
On the day he awakened his second ability, a notification appeared in his mind: Draw Count +1. Without hesitation, he used it immediately.
A blank card popped out of the deck. It was engulfed in a blaze of azure flames, the spiritual fire belonging to a Stand user.
When the flames faded, the card's border turned a deep violet. On its once empty surface appeared an image that represented its essence: a red and blue spider.
Fantasy Card: Spider Sense
Type: Ability Card
Rarity: SR

Fantasy Cards varied in quality and were divided into four rarity tiers, each represented by a different border color.
N for Normal, white.
R for Rare, blue.
SR for Super Rare, violet.
SSR for Superior Super Rare, orange.
Cards created from ordinary, non-supernatural objects were usually N-rank. Jason had been lucky. His very first draw was an SR.
Following the instinctive knowledge in his mind, he grabbed the floating card and pressed it against his chest.
The moment they touched, the violet card shattered silently into countless shimmering fragments. Like iron filings drawn to a magnet, they surged back and sank into his body.
In an instant, the spider powers took effect. His senses sharpened at an astonishing rate, and the world before his eyes seemed to slow down.
For the first time, Jason experienced the unique allure of supernatural power.
Another week passed. Through continuous practice and experimentation, he had grown increasingly adept at using his Stand.
For example, right now.
After checking in and collecting his equipment, Jason stepped out of the station and turned into a nearby alley.
He raised his right hand and opened his palm.
"Fantasy Cards."
The Stand activated.
From Jason's perspective, azure spiritual flames ignited, wrapping around his body as a white-bordered Fantasy Card materialized and hovered in midair.
From a passerby's perspective, the handsome young officer pressed down the brim of his cap with one hand while holding the other hand out dramatically. It looked undeniably over-the-top.
Fantasy Card: Small Police Motorcycle
Type: Item Card

He plucked the card from the air. With a flash of flashy, low-budget special effects, the "Little Sheep" was released from its seal and materialized in front of him.
Vroom!
The engine roared to life. Jason kicked up the stand and swung onto the bike in one smooth motion.
Put-put-put…
The small motorcycle shot forward, carrying him toward his patrol route for the day.

After enduring multiple global-scale disasters, the surviving humans in this world formed a unified government. Cities were designated by letters.
The city Jason was in, City Z, was also the home of a certain bald-caped hero.
"Monsters… Heroes…"
Riding his motorcycle, Jason's thoughts drifted.
Monsters were unique entities born under this world's rules. For reasons unknown, they emerged to threaten human society. Based on factors like destructive capability and difficulty to eliminate, they were classified into five disaster levels.
Wolf: Beings or groups that pose a potential threat.
Tiger: A crisis causing large numbers of casualties within an unspecified area.
Demon: A threat capable of destroying or paralyzing an entire city.
Dragon: A disaster that can devastate multiple cities.
God: A threat to the survival of humanity itself.
As for heroes, one recent piece of news came to mind.
A wealthy man named Agoni, recognizable for his unusual chin, announced through the media that after his grandson was attacked by a monster, he would personally fund the creation of a private organization dedicated to handling such incidents.
Its purpose was to eliminate monsters and protect lives.
Its name:
The Hero Association.
And then, money did its work.
In just three months, this newly formed organization expanded rapidly under a relentless financial push. Branches were established across major cities. They began recruiting powerful individuals to fight monsters and resolve disasters.
These increasingly talked-about individuals became known to the public as:
Heroes.
