Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The First Day

Dr. Leo stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his coat. His sharp eyes reflected a calm confidence—but beneath it, something darker stirred.

"The human brain… billions of cells, each controlling life itself," he whispered to himself.

"And I understand them better than anyone."

Leo was a neurologist—one of the best. After years of study, sleepless nights, and relentless ambition, he had finally secured a position at King's Hospital, the most elite medical institution in the country. A place where only the richest and most powerful could afford treatment.

Today was his first official day.

A faint smile crossed his face.

"A new beginning… or something more?"

The hospital corridors were silent and polished, filled with luxury rather than urgency. Everything about the place spoke of wealth—gold-trimmed walls, private suites, and guarded entrances.

Leo walked with steady steps.

"My first patient… important one," he thought.

He glanced at the file in his hand.

Name: Elias

Status: Business tycoon

Condition: Chronic Headaches

Leo read the note carefully.

"Chronic daily headaches… 15 days or more a month, lasting over three months."

He paused for a second, thinking deeply.

"Pain like that can break a man… or reveal his secrets."

Inside the private room, Elias sat near the window. A man dressed in expensive clothes, yet his face showed exhaustion.

Dark circles under his eyes. Tight jaw. Restless fingers.

He turned as Leo entered.

"Dr. Leo?" Elias asked.

Leo nodded calmly. "Yes. I'll be handling your case."

Leo pulled a chair and sat across from him, opening his notebook.

"Let's begin with a detailed evaluation," Leo said.

"Tell me about your headaches."

Elias sighed. "They come almost every day… sometimes unbearable. It feels like something is pressing inside my skull."

Leo observed him closely—not just his words, but his behavior.

"Any vision problems?"

"Sometimes blurred."

"Motor strength? Weakness in your arms or legs?"

"No… but I feel tired all the time."

Leo nodded and continued.

"Your mental state—any stress, anxiety, or unusual thoughts?"

Elias hesitated.

"A lot of stress… business pressure."

Leo wrote everything down carefully.

"Reflexes and neurological responses—we'll test those next," Leo added.

As Leo finished writing, one line stood out on the paper:

Possible Treatment: Anti-seizure drugs

He tapped his pen slowly.

"Medicine can heal…"

A faint, almost invisible smile appeared on his lips.

"…or it can destroy."

Leo closed the file and stood up.

"We'll begin treatment soon," he said calmly.

Elias nodded, trusting him completely.

As Leo walked out of the room, his expression changed.

Cold. Calculated.

"The brain is fragile…"

"And I know exactly how to control it."
