Following the coronation, delegations from neighboring countries arrived and a banquet was held. Almost every single noble showed up in attendance. They seemed busy trying to make their new emperor remember them in order to survive. Sez didn’t think she could stand another banquet after surviving all of the attention and pressure from the highest spot in the hall throughout the coronation ceremony.
‘I don’t need to be here.’
It wasn’t like she had anything to do. With that, Sez swiftly left the banquet hall like she was running away from it.
‘Eton… where’s Eton…?’
Sez left the main hall and looked around, but Eton was nowhere to be found.
‘Did he already return to that room?’
"Your Royal Highness," Sez turned back upon hearing the sudden call.
"Matias Karim at your service."
Matias greeted her with dignified courtesy. Once he lifted his head, Sez could see that his expression was still overcome by worry.
"Would you kindly grant me a moment, please?"
