Ayanokouji POV
Everyone in class has talking about the paper shuffle exam and what they are planning to do. To be honest, the quiz wasn't a problem for me. Everyone else decided to tutor the one who couldn't reach 100 in their test to be prepared for the exam, but I guess they're just being overachievers I suppose. We already took the quiz after a week and here are the pairings for the paper shuffle exam:

I think pairing with Tatsuya is alright and it wouldn't be a problem for us, the same as the others. I don't think that there is anything to worry about since this is Class S. A class full of geniuses, hard workers, etc.
"I'm going to the cafe" I said as we were now allowed to leave the classroom.
"Huh? why Kiyotaka-san? I mean aren't you going to join the study group I assigned you to?" Kei asked
"It's fine, Tatsuya and the rest can take it from here" I said
"Heh! you really are confident in our class huh?"
"All of you have really high scores after all so I don't think they would need me to tutor them" I replied
"I guess that makes sense. But you could at least help out a bit?" he asked
"Don't worry I will" I said as I leave the classroom

Minutes later, I've arrived at the cafe. There was not much going on as I noticed a particular group that is currently studying. It was 4 people from Class D, I think their names were Yukimura, Hasebe, Miyake, and Sakura.
I guess they have their own study group for the exams. Now that I think of it, I think it's better if I have extra info on Class D especially on Daigo and Kushida. I could use their help in figuring things out. Even though I have Karuizawa who is my secret pawn, I think I should also have some other people to help me secretly in plain sight. They might just be it.
I headed towards them as I said my hellos.
"Ohh Ayanokouji, what are you doing here?" Yukimura asked
"I'm just here to say hello, that's all"
"I see"
"Hey Ayanokouji, right? aren't you supposed to be studying in a group or something?" Hasebe asked
"Yeah, but I told them that they're fine without me" I replied
"I guess that somewhat makes sense since you guys are the top class in terms of grades after all" Miyake said.
"And besides you are quite impressive in the sports festival, so I'll at least commend you on that." Yukimura said
"So, what exactly are you doing here?" he added by asking me a question
"I'm just here to help"
"Huh? help us? I mean we're from Class D and you're from Class S. Are you sure you can just..."
"It's fine, I did tell you guys that Class S has a lot of top students there so that does include me, right?" I asked
"So, I don't mind helping you guys."
"T-that's great" Sakura said sheepishly
"Well, if Sakura is fine with it, then you can help us" Yukimura said
"Same here I guess" Hasebe said
"I wouldn't mind, I mean we have a Class S student working with us so I'm fine with that" Miyake said
With that I helped the 4 study, but I can't help thinking about it but something else right now is in my mind. oh, right my birthday is coming soon.

It was the 5th study session, as I continue helping the Class D students. It's not like I'm helping them out of the kindness of my heart, but I want them to gain my trust so that they can at least provide me some added info.
"Why do these questions have to be so difficult Yukimuu?" Hasebe said, wait Yukimuu?
"Please don't call me that, it's embarrassing" Yukimura said
"eh, I think that's fine" she said
"Well don't waste your time now, let's continue with this" Miyake said
"You sound motivated, Miyatchii" What's with these nicknames?
"Not really, I just don't like studying hours upon hours. That's all" he replied
"But since I'd rather pass this exam than fail, then I have to do it so I can get back to my room" he added
"At least you are motivated I'll give you that" I said as I notice Hasebe standing up
"If you don't mind, I'll just get a refill" she said as she walked off and dropped her cup along the way
As the cup fell, it was stopped by a familiar face and stomped it.
"Hey that's my..huh?"
Before she continued, we looked ahead, and it was Ryuen along with his Class C goons.
"Having fun, are we?" he asked
"Ryuen..."
"Did you receive my gift?" he asked, gift?
"What are you talking about?" Yukimura asked
Oh, I see, looks like it's about the email I sent him the other day.
"So, did you catch anything amiss, Hiyori?" he said as a familiar girl arrived; it was Hiyori back at the island.
"It's been a while Ayanokouji-kun" she said
"You know her?" Miyake asked
"We met on the island exam" I replied
"Wait does that mean..."
"Don't worry Miyake, we already took care of that problem back at the island, so we were not caught in their shenanigans" I said while cutting Miyake off.
"Looks like you two are acquainted, well?" Ryuen said
"The rest are forgettable though" she said
"Don't say it like that, besides you are familiar with Ayanokouji in particular, you might have to deal with him in the future."
"What do you want from us exactly?" I asked
"I came here to greet you all, and it is suspicious that you are from Class S and yet you decide to play with Class D." he said
"I'll see you soon" he said as he left with the rest aside from Hiyori who gave her an extra cup
"Apologies for earlier, I'll talk to you guys after the final exams" she said as she also left
There were a few seconds of silence until....
"I wonder what's that about? do you know something Kiyopon?" she asked
"Kiyopon?"
"Yeah, I decided to give you a nickname too since you have been hanging out with us for a while even though you're from a different class. What do you think Airi?" she asked Sakura
"I-it's fine, I t-think it's okay" she said
"Anyways, want to get some ice cream guys?"
"Yeah, fine by me" Miyake said
"I guess it's okay" Yukimura said
"S-sure" Sakura said
"What about you Kiyopon?"
"I don't see why not" I said
"Also, since you did help us study. Why don't we call this little group of ours the Ayanokouji Group?"
"What?"
"Well, it's not a terrible idea since Ayanokouji did willingly help us study even if he is from Class S" Yukimura said
"Yep, also we have to call each other by our first names from now on" she said
"Call me Haruka"
"Alright, I'm Akito"
"I think it would be preferable if you call me Keisei" Yukimura said
"Keisei?"
"Well, I don't like the name Teruhiko since it was my mother who gave me that name, but she left the family when I was still a kid. She was despicable" he explained
"Sorry about that, was that too much information"
"It's not a problem' I said
"I'm sorry to hear that" Haruka said
"No need to apologize. I want you guys to call me Keisei since it was the name that my father tried to give me"
"Keisei huh? that's fine" Akito said
"Call me Kiyotaka"
"And you're Airi right?" Haruka asked
"Y-yes" she replied
They continue to talk a bit more from that point. To be honest, I didn't know if that would work, but I did gain their trust. So now my work begins

*ring* *ring*
Hikigaya: hello
Kanzaki: where are you? you should be back by now +
Hikigaya: Don't worry Ryuji, I'll be back just going to pay for my latte
Kanzaki: *sigh* fine
*Phone hangs up*
Hikigaya: looks like Ryuen is onto you huh Ayanokouji? Looks like I need to make my move.
