The rain was loud that night.
Aarohi sat near her window, staring at her phone. It had been one year since Kabir died… one year since everything changed.
She still couldn't delete his number.
"Why am I like this…" she whispered, hugging her knees.
Her phone screen suddenly lit up.

Her heart skipped a beat.
Unknown Number: "I'm still here."
Aarohi frowned. "Spam?" she muttered.
But then another message came.
11:59 PM
Unknown Number: "You forgot me already?"
Her hands started shaking.
This didn't feel like a random message.
Slowly… she opened the chat.
Her breath stopped.
The number… it was Kabir's.
"No… this is not possible…" she whispered.
Kabir was dead.
She saw his body.
She went to his funeral.
Then how…?
Another message appeared.
"Don't trust anyone, Aarohi."
Her heart started racing.
Before she could reply, one last message came—
"They are watching you."
Suddenly, the lights in her room went off.
Her phone slipped from her hand.
