Chapter 1 - The Blue Letter

In an old neighborhood of Kolkata lived a boy named Rupam. He had a favorite habit—every afternoon, he would go up to the rooftop and stare at the sky. He believed that within the blue of the sky, countless untold stories were hidden.

One day, while sitting on the roof, a piece of paper suddenly fell in front of him. Surprised, he picked it up and saw that it was a letter written in blue ink—

"If you truly want to hear the stories of the sky, come to the old banyan tree tomorrow at five in the evening."

Rupam's curiosity grew. The next day, exactly at five, he went to the banyan tree. There was no one around—just a gentle breeze and the sound of birds.

Suddenly, a girl stepped out from behind the tree. She was holding a notebook written in the same blue ink. She smiled and said,

"I'm Meghla. I write the stories of the sky."

Rupam, amazed, asked, "Stories of the sky? What does that mean?"

Meghla replied, "The stories that people see but don't understand—those are the stories of the sky. They are hidden in the folds of clouds, in sunlight, and in the sound of rain."

From that day on, Rupam was no longer alone on the rooftop. Every afternoon, he and Meghla would look at the sky together and discover new stories.

But one day, Meghla didn't come.

Instead, beneath the banyan tree, there was a blue letter—

"Not all stories have an ending, Rupam. Some stories are like the sky—endless."

Rupam held the letter close to his chest. Then he went back to the rooftop and looked up at the sky.

This time, he understood—

Meghla might be gone, but the stories she left behind were still floating in the sky.
