Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: Bonds Across the Sand

The factory interior glowed with soft silver-blue light from the many PC screens. Gentle hums filled the air as the anime-girl AI voice greeted new visitors with kind words. Milim still sat at the large central station, her small dragonoid form leaning forward with sparkling eyes. The golden dunes of Crimson Desert stretched across her screen, and her warrior stood tall after another victorious battle.

Milim let out a happy cheer and paused the game for a moment. "This is so much fun alone, but I want to share it! The warrior has friends in the story. Can we fight together with real people here in Tempest? Like a big team battle in the desert?"

Veldora stood behind her with steady dignity. He relayed Takumi's calm reply so everyone nearby could hear. "Takumi says yes. Crimson Desert has a multiplayer mode. Players from anywhere can join the same world, form teams, and explore or battle side by side. The fiber network makes it smooth and fast. We can open a special room right now so friends can play together."

Milim's eyes lit up like stars. "Team battles? Yes! Let us do it right now!" She tapped the screen quickly. The game menu changed to show a bright "Multiplayer" button. The AI voice spoke gently. "Multiplayer mode ready, Master Milim. How many friends would you like to invite?"

Rimuru stepped closer, his deep golden eyes warm with interest. "Invite all of us, Milim. Let us see how teamwork feels inside the game."

Ramiris floated beside the screen and clapped her tiny hands. "I want to join too! I can be the speedy scout who finds hidden treasures in the sand!"

Gobta grinned wide and pulled up a chair at the next PC. "Count me in! I will be the strong tank who charges first. Lady Milim, we will protect you while you smash everything!"

Shuna smiled softly and sat at another station. "I will support from behind with healing spells. It will be nice to work together even in play."

Gabiru straightened his armor with proud energy. "A team battle in the desert? My warrior spirit is ready. I shall lead the charge and show the strength of the lizardmen!"

Benimaru took a seat with calm focus. "I will watch the map and call out enemy positions. Strategy matters in every fight, even here."

Diablo appeared silently at the far end of the row, his crimson eyes sharp yet calm. "I will provide precise support. No opening will be left unguarded."

Souei materialized without a sound beside him. "I will move unseen and strike from the shadows. The desert will hide me well."

Veldora took the last open station, his scarred face showing quiet amusement. "Takumi and I will join as one. Our combined power will make the team even stronger."

Milim created the multiplayer room with quick taps. The AI voice announced cheerfully, "Team Tempest has entered Crimson Desert. You may choose your roles and begin the shared adventure."

The screens synchronized. All eight players appeared in the same golden desert under the same bright sun. Milim's warrior stood at the front, sword raised. "Alright, everyone! Our first mission is to clear the ancient ruins together. Stay close and have fun!"

The group moved as one. Milim charged ahead with bold slashes, her laughter ringing out. "Look at this big sand worm! We can beat it if we hit it at the same time!"

Gobta's tank character rushed in front and drew the monster's attention. "I got it! Hit it now while I hold the line!" His shield glowed as he blocked heavy attacks.

Ramiris zipped around as a speedy scout, marking weak points on the screen. "Here and here! The glowing spots are soft. I found a secret path too!"

Shuna's support character cast gentle healing light. "Everyone stay strong. I will keep your health full so you can fight without worry."

Gabiru's warrior struck with powerful overhead blows. "For the tribe! Feel the strength of the lizardmen!" His hits landed heavy and true.

Benimaru directed from the map. "Enemy reinforcements from the left. Milim, take the front. I will cover the right side."

Diablo's precise mage cast control spells that froze groups of smaller foes in place. "They cannot move. Finish them cleanly."

Souei's shadow assassin vanished and reappeared behind enemies, striking silently. "Done. The path ahead is clear."

Veldora and Takumi controlled a balanced fighter who combined raw power with clever tactics. "Takumi says the timing on that combo was perfect. Together we make the team unstoppable."

The sand worm boss roared and thrashed, but the group worked in perfect harmony. Milim delivered the final strike with a spinning jump attack. Bright light filled every screen as the monster crumbled into sparkling dust. Victory music played, and the words "Team Tempest Triumph!" appeared in large letters.

Milim jumped up from her chair, arms raised high. "We did it! That was the best feeling ever! Fighting together made everything more exciting. The desert felt less lonely with all of you there."

Ramiris spun in the air with joy. "My scout moves helped so much! I want to do another mission right now. We can explore the hidden oasis next!"

Gobta pumped his fist. "I felt like a real hero holding the front line. The teamwork was perfect. We should play every day after training!"

Shuna's voice stayed gentle and happy. "Healing everyone while you fought was wonderful. It reminded me how we support each other in real life too."

Gabiru stood tall, chest puffed with pride. "A grand battle! My character grew stronger from the shared experience. I will bring more of my tribe to learn this kind of unity."

Benimaru nodded with sharp approval. "The coordination was flawless. We can use these sessions to practice real battle formations in a safe way."

Diablo inclined his head with calm respect. "The precision required here mirrors the care we give to protecting the federation. A fine exercise."

Souei gave a small, rare smile. "The shadows hid me well. Multiplayer makes even quiet roles feel important."

Rimuru watched the lively group with deep golden eyes full of quiet pride. "This is more than a game. Multiplayer mode has brought us closer in a new way. Takumi, your world's gift lets us share joy and learn together without any danger."

Veldora relayed Takumi's warm words. "Takumi says seeing all of you play as a team fills him with the same happiness he felt playing with friends back home. The fiber network lets anyone in Tempest join future sessions. We can even open public rooms so citizens from every town can form teams and make new friends."

Milim sat back down, already starting the next mission. "Then let us keep going! The desert is waiting, and so are more big bosses. Who wants to try the next ruin with me?"

The group leaned in closer, screens glowing with shared adventure. Laughter and quick advice filled the factory as they moved through the golden sands together. The anime-girl AI offered helpful tips to the whole team at once. "Your teamwork is excellent. The next area has a puzzle that needs everyone's help."

Outside the factory windows, the Petronas Twin Towers stood tall and shining. The Night Market floor hummed nearby with its own lively energy. Inside, however, a new kind of connection had formed—digital yet deeply real. Multiplayer gaming had turned simple play into a bridge of friendship, strategy, and shared excitement.

As the afternoon light grew softer, Milim's team cleared another ruin and unlocked new weapons. Her bright laughter mixed with everyone else's cheers. "This is the best way to spend time with friends! Thank you, Takumi. Thank you, Veldora. The desert feels like home now because we are all here together."

Veldora smiled with mature affection. "Takumi feels the same. The multiplayer mode was made for moments exactly like this."

The factory continued to welcome more visitors, but for now the focus stayed on Team Tempest exploring the crimson sands side by side. Bonds grew stronger with every shared victory, every careful plan, and every happy shout. The fiber lines carried their adventures smoothly across the federation, and the second server kept every game safe and ready.

Rimuru looked at his friends with gentle satisfaction. "Games like this remind us why we build and protect. They bring light to our days and strength to our bonds."

Milim grinned at the screen as the next boss appeared. "One more fight! Let us show the desert what Team Tempest can do!"

The golden sands stretched wide on every monitor, full of wonder and waiting for the next exciting step. The factory hummed with life, its screens glowing like windows to new worlds where friends fought, laughed, and grew together.
