CHAPTER:14 [Queen's Dominion]
The aftermath of the duel was so big that it made the people of the Council question their judgment in choosing Dona.
"I reckon you guys already know about the duel."
They argued for a long time about what to do if they couldn't control her.
Thud… Bang.
One of them slammed the table and stood up, raising his voice.
"Oh, what are we going to do if she really decides to come for our necks? And how do you suppose we control her?"
The argument heated up until they were shouting at each other. Two of them opposed the idea of Dona being a Council member, while one wanted to play with her for a while before discarding her.
"SILENCE!"
The room fell dead silent as the previous people who were shouting sat back down.
After a long while, their leader finally spoke.
"We just have to maintain the balance for now. The moment things get out of our hands, we'll dispose of her."

Everyone in the academy started fearing Dona after the duel. Wherever she would go, the area would fall dead silent.
Eventually, after a day or so, people started talking behind her back whether she was present or not. Fear, distrust, and confusion spread from the actions of a control freak who couldn't contain their anger.
Now the things Dona did with the authority she had pushed people to the corner. Some completely became slaves to the rules, while others rebelled against the injustice. The commotion she caused created a bigger uproar than she thought, to the point where she couldn't contain anything for a while.
But it did one good thing, at least for a moment — it gave Shino and Kai a moment to escape the heavy supervision that was upon them.
"It's a mess, isn't it."
Kai said that as he looked at the riots and commotion through the window of a secluded room.
Shino suddenly appeared beside him and said in a deep voice,
"Yeah, it is. And a big one at that."
"Well then, what's the plan? Cause this commotion isn't going to last long."
Shino paused for a moment as he looked at the unfolding chaos and said with clarity,
"We'll be wasting our time for a while." After a long pause he spoke again. "But there will be a party after a few months."
Kai was confused.
"And what does a party have anything to do with your plan?"
Shino said with a blank expression while still looking at the commotion,
"Have you seen a statue with a book in the hallway?"
Kai scratched his head, trying to remember. Indeed, he had seen a black statue with a book in the maze-like academy.
Kai waited for Shino to explain, but he didn't say anything for a while.
"Bitch, say it clearly. We don't have much time. That commotion isn't going to last long."
Shino sighed and explained properly,
"I want you to go to that statue on the day of the party and say 'Forte Invertum'. Mind you, this year security will be strict because of Dona. Also, there will be a lot of powerful figures in the party, so find a loophole."
Shino disappeared after explaining, leaving Kai alone in the secluded room. Soon after, Kai disappeared from the room as well and returned to the dorm. He entered his room and fell asleep.

Kai went on with his routine. He woke up, ate breakfast, and went to the academy. The bell rang and class started. After an hour or so, the teacher's phone started ringing. She picked it up and went out of the classroom.
(Hey Kai.)
Kai looked around in surprise and rubbed his ears, thinking he was hearing things. But he heard that voice again.
(Bitch, it's me.)
Kai looked again and saw Feng's smug face raising up and down his left eyebrow.
(H… how are you doing this?)
(Oh, you mean how I'm talking in your head? It's a technique.)
(But why are you talking to me during class?)
Then the teacher returned and said,
"Feng Lin and Dona, go to the Headmaster's office."
Feng Lin and Dona stood up and left the classroom. After a few hours, the bell rang and class ended.
Kai went to the cafeteria for lunch and sat in the far corner, away from people. As he was eating, a hand suddenly banged the metal table.
"Bitch, what are you doing here alone?"
Kai looked up at Feng's smug face and said,
"What are you doing here? I thought it would take a lot longer for you to come."
Feng sat down at the opposite side and said,
"Yeah, well, I got an earful from that old fuck."
Kai looked at him with a blank expression.
"An earful? Considering the time it took, it was probably a shitful, not earful. And where is Dona?"
Feng ordered lunch for himself and said,
"The bitch stayed at the old fuck's office. They were talking about some shit."
They talked as they ate their lunch.

"Dona, don't do stuff like that. They aren't worth your attention."
Harold talked to Dona with a calmed tone, explaining things to her, and then said,
"Anyway, could you do me a favor?"
Dona looked at him and said,
"Oh, what is it?"
Harold pursed his lips, trying to solve this problem on his own, but he knew he couldn't and said,
"I want you to keep an eye on that deformed gremlin."
Dona's eyes gleamed and she said,
"If you are talking about Kai, then I'm all in."
