The protagonist's name is Ryū (a deliberate nod to "dragon," symbolizing potential and ferocity). He is an orphan in Konoha.
The Great Sage is kinda sentient at the start to add personality, it's a logical system. But as Ryū grows, so will the Sage… eventually evolving into something far greater.

1. A Gradual Power Progression (No Instant Godhood though maybe when he's older he'll be OP)
This is not a crack fic where Ryū one-shots Madara at age seven. The Great Sage is powerful, but it operates within the laws of the Naruto universe. It can analyze, optimize, and create, but it cannot conjure chakra from nothing or bypass physical limits without training.

· Phase 1 (Ages 0-10): Foundation. Chakra control, basic jutsu, physical conditioning, library research. Ryū becomes the strongest in his class mastering nature transformations and some jutsu's, but jonin still outclass him.

· Phase 3 (Ages 13-16): Super kage level. Sage Mode, Eight Gates access, kekkei tota creation, Trashing Akatsuki-level threats.
· Phase 4 (Ages 16+): above Ōtsutsuki level and beyond.
Note: these phrases are just an estimate, he can be more powerful.
Expect a slow burn with satisfying milestones.

Great Sage will:

· Propose efficiency improvements (fewer hand seals, less chakra, more power).

But there will always be limitations, chakra reserves, physical conditioning, and the Sage's current processing capacity (which grows with Ryū's experience).
3. Canon Events, But Warped
The story follows the main Naruto timeline, but Ryū's presence creates ripples. Some changes early lead to massive divergences later.
· The Wave Mission? Different outcome.
· Chunin Exams? Orochimaru gets cooked.
· Sasuke's defection? Ryū might not let that happen? Or maybe let that happen?.

However, I will not blindly rehash canon. If a scene would play out exactly the same despite Ryū's existence, I'll summarize or skip it. Expect original arcs and missions.

What the Great Sage Can Do (Clarified Rules)
To avoid confusion, here are the hard rules I'm following:
Ability How It Works in This Fic
Analysis Can break down any chakra-based phenomenon, jutsu, or biological process after sufficient exposure. Requires data, cannot analyze what Ryū has never sensed.
Parallel Processing, it Can run multiple simulations simultaneously, but processing power scales with Ryū's mental stamina. Overuse causes migraines.
Skill Creation, it Can combine known techniques into new ones, but the result must be physically possible within Naruto's laws. No reality warping (until much later).
Prediction, In combat, can calculate probabilities based on observable data. Cannot predict pure randomness or abilities it has never seen.
Autonomous Action, Initially, only offers suggestions. Later, can briefly control Ryū's body for perfect evasion or counterattacks.
Evolution The Sage will evolve: into Raphael (greater processing, near-sentience). These are endgame milestones.
Note: he still needs to practice/learn before using any techniques. Great sage can analyse the technique and put the techniques information into his mind but he still needs to practice before using it perfectly.

· Read minds. It can predict behavior from micro-expressions and chakra fluctuations, but not literal telepathy.
