Ka'z remained seated beneath the cover of the bushes for several seconds after the system finished displaying the plan, his eyes fixed on the faint holographic image hovering before him. The miniature version of the Ashmork settlement slowly rotated in the darkness, revealing the wooden walls, watchtowers, narrow roads, clustered homes and the locations of the barn and ranch.
From above, the plan looked simple enough. Get in without being seen, start a fire, release the livestock and escape through the southern gate before the enemy could organize a response. But Ka'z knew better than to trust how easy something looked from a distance. One wrong step inside that village and he would find himself surrounded by hundreds of goblins with nowhere to run.
"Let's do it," Ka'z finally muttered as the holographic image vanished.
