SWOOSH!
Grash's heavy footsteps thundered through the narrow tunnel as he raced toward Kong'gong, each step cracking loose pieces of stone from beneath his feet. The old kobold's words had struck something deeper than simple anger.
They had touched the pride Grash had spent his entire life building, reminding him of every goblin who had ever looked down on his race and every obstacle he had overcome to reach his current position.
His murderous gaze sharpened as he tightened both hands around his battle axe. If the old kobold wanted to speak about the past, then Grash would carve his answer directly into his body.
SWISH!
His battle axe descended with terrifying force, the blue lightning surrounding its blade illuminating the tunnel as it tore downward. Kong'gong merely shifted one step to the side. The weapon missed him by barely an inch and crashed into the ground, sending a violent tremor through the stone.
