Chapter 5: Special Training from Gojo Satoru

So fast!

Even with the enhancement of his Sharingan, Toho Hiroshi's body couldn't react in time. Gojo Satoru, with a mischievous smile, had already appeared beside him, gently tapping his forehead.

Completely unavoidable!

However, just as that finger was about to touch his skin, the swirling six-pointed star pattern in Toho Hiroshi's eyes suddenly accelerated.

It wasn't his conscious control, but an instinctive reaction to the threat of extreme speed.

A strange spatial fluctuation rippled out from the focal point of his vision.

Gojo Satoru's finger seemed to poke into an invisible film of water, pausing eerily for a moment just an inch from Toho Hiroshi's forehead, and the surrounding air subtly distorted.

"Hmm?"

Gojo Satoru's smile froze, and his cerulean Rikugan instantly burst with astonishing brilliance, fixating on that tiny point of spatial distortion.

Though it was only for an instant, the fluctuation disappeared, and his finger, as intended, flicked Toho Hiroshi's forehead with a light touch.

But Gojo Satoru, as if he had discovered a new continent, suddenly leaned close to Toho Hiroshi, almost nose to nose.

"What was that just now? Not Black Flame! Is it another one of your abilities?"

His voice was filled with the excitement of someone who had found a treasure.

Toho Hiroshi himself was stunned. The spot on his forehead didn't hurt, but his heart was pounding.

Was that Kamui just now?

Or was it merely a weak, instinctive interference with space by the Mangekyo Sharingan?

He had no idea what had happened, only an instinctive feeling of dread and lingering fear.

"I... I don't know..."

He answered blankly, and his Sharingan deactivated due to mental fluctuations.

Gojo Satoru stared at him for several seconds, seemingly judging if he was lying, then broke into a huge, challenging grin.

"Interesting! Too interesting! Toho Hiroshi, you have more secrets than I thought!"

Not far away, Geto Suguru, who was observing, also frowned slightly.

He had vaguely sensed that fleeting, strange fluctuation as well.

The power contained within the eyes of this suddenly appearing youth seemed to be far more than just that terrifying Black Flame.

Toho Hiroshi's life at Jujutsu High slowly unfolded amidst constant scrutiny, training, occasional chaos, and the continuous astonishment brought by his own secrets.

The road ahead was full of unknowns, but he understood that to survive in this dangerous world, he had to quickly master these eyes, which were both a gift and a curse, and learn how to get along with his powerful and uniquely tempered companions.

Gojo Satoru's excitement was almost palpable; he circled Toho Hiroshi like a large feline that had found a new toy, his cerulean Rikugan gleaming with unprecedented investigative light.

"Spatial fluctuation! Definitely a spatial Cursed Technique! Although it was very weak and disappeared in a flash, my Rikugan would never be wrong!"

He spoke rapidly, waving his hands excitedly, "It's not simple acceleration or defense; it's something more fundamental! Wow! What kind of treasure are these eyes of yours!"

Toho Hiroshi was dizzy from being circled, and more importantly, he himself was in a state of immense shock and confusion.

Kamui?

Was that brief moment truly the rudimentary form of Kamui?

How could it be, with his current half-baked skill?

"Satoru, calm down."

Geto Suguru stepped forward and held back Gojo Satoru, who was almost pressed against Toho Hiroshi, "Can't you see he's also scared? This uncontrolled burst of ability is clearly not something he can master right now."

He turned to Toho Hiroshi, his tone softening slightly: "Can you describe what that feeling was like just now?"

Toho Hiroshi tried to calm his breathing, recalling the sensation of that instant: "It was like, my eyes themselves burned, and then the point in space where I was looking at your finger seemed to 'twist'? I can't explain it; it was very fast, and I can't find that feeling at all now."

"Autonomous defense? Or rather, an instinctive reaction of the eyes themselves when faced with an unavoidable attack?"

Geto Suguru analyzed, looking at Gojo Satoru, "Satoru, your Limitless Cursed Technique can also cause similar spatial distortions. What do you think?"

"It's different."

Gojo Satoru finally calmed down a bit, stroking his chin, his eyes behind his sunglasses still intensely fixed on Toho Hiroshi, "My Cursed Technique converges and controls based on the concept of 'infinity.' What he did just now was cruder, more direct, like forcibly 'twisting' that small piece of space? Tsk, I can't describe it. The information my Rikugan saw was also very blurry, interfered with by the power of those eyes themselves."

He increasingly felt that Toho Hiroshi's existence was a huge enigma.

Eyes that simultaneously possessed ultimate 'annihilation' and suspected'spatial distortion' abilities, yet their owner knew nothing about his own power, and his Cursed Energy manipulation was as terrible as a beginner's.

This extreme incongruity aroused Gojo Satoru's strongest interest.

"It seems ordinary training won't be effective for you anymore."

Gojo Satoru suddenly grinned, revealing a mischievous expression, "You'll need some'special training.'"

A chill instantly ran down Toho Hiroshi's spine: "Special training?"

"Exactly!"

Gojo Satoru snapped his fingers, "Starting tomorrow, your main sparring partner will be me! Only under extreme pressure can your true potential be forced out! Don't worry, I'll control the intensity; I won't break you right away~"

That last sentence sounded completely unconvincing.

Toho Hiroshi: "..."

Is it too late for him to faint now?

Geto Suguru gave Toho Hiroshi a sympathetic look but did not object.

He also agreed that conventional methods might indeed not be suitable for Toho Hiroshi's unique situation.

A 'high-pressure' environment under Gojo Satoru's control might be the fastest way to stimulate and stabilize his abilities at this stage.

However, this process would likely be a nightmare for Toho Hiroshi.

Gojo Satoru was true to his word.

In the following days, Toho Hiroshi's 'training' intensity directly escalated to a hellish level.

Gojo Satoru's so-called 'controlling the intensity' meant creatively using various weak but extremely fast, tricky Cursed Energy projectiles to attack Toho Hiroshi, and occasionally suddenly closing in to pressure him with close-quarters combat.

The goal was singular: to force the Sharingan to react and try to control it in a life-or-death race against time.

Toho Hiroshi was exhausted every day, bruises were common, and although Shoko would heal them quickly, his mind was constantly under high tension.

The results were also significant.

Under the terrifying pressure exerted by Gojo Satoru, the'strongest,' Toho Hiroshi became much more proficient at activating and controlling his Sharingan.

While he still couldn't do it at will, at least it wouldn't automatically activate due to slight emotional fluctuations, nor would it deactivate quickly due to mental fatigue after activation.

His dynamic vision and observational skills were greatly honed, and he even began to barely catch Gojo Satoru's movement trajectories when he was holding back, though his body still couldn't react.

As for that strange spatial fluctuation, it appeared sporadically a few more times after that incident.

These occurrences were always in moments of extreme danger, when escape was almost certainly impossible, autonomously triggered by the Sharingan, twisting attack trajectories or deflecting Gojo Satoru's movements; the amplitude was minimal, the duration extremely short, and completely uncontrollable.
