Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Shisui!

Although Hiruzen Sarutobi was very confident in his own "charisma"… ahem, persuasion skills, and believed that Shisui would never betray him—

there was always the fear of the unexpected.

What if everything Shisui had done over the years was just an act?

If something went wrong, the so-called strongest Hokage in history might have his will rewritten by Kotoamatsukami and become a puppet of the Uchiha.

That was absolutely unacceptable.

But as Hokage, he had to remain in the light.

Even if he couldn't tolerate it, he couldn't personally make a move against his subordinate.

Dirty work like that…

was for Danzō.

With that thought, he summoned an ANBU.

"Go. Inform Danzō to meet me tomorrow at this time. Tell him I want to discuss how to deal with the Uchiha clan. Also—bring Itachi to me."

Hiruzen was well aware of Danzō's obsession with the Sharingan.

If Danzō learned about Shisui's Mangekyō ability, there would be no need for hints—he would act on his own.

But that alone wasn't enough.

It might not guarantee Shisui's death.

So Hiruzen planned to use Itachi as a final safeguard.

If Shisui understood the situation, then even if he escaped Danzō…

he would choose to take his own life for Konoha—

thereby weakening the Uchiha and suppressing their momentum, stopping the coup.

Two birds with one stone.

Uchiha Izumi's house.

Kamikawa slowly opened his eyes, withdrawing his perception.

Just as he had expected—

Shisui had gone straight to the Third Hokage and revealed his Mangekyō ability, walking directly into a deadly trap.

Tomorrow was the Uchiha clan gathering.

Kamikawa clearly remembered that the clan planned to use it to discuss their coup—

unaware that two traitors within their own ranks had already leaked everything.

In the end, it would all collapse due to Shisui's death.

"What a tragic clan…"

Kamikawa sighed inwardly.

On the inside, they had Itachi—the dutiful son turned traitor—and the naïve Shisui.

On the outside, there was the unstable Obito.

Even their clan head was indecisive.

No wonder their destruction was inevitable.

Just then, Izumi's voice interrupted his thoughts:

"Kamikawa, dinner's ready!"

"Coming."

He stood up and walked to the table.

The next day, Kamikawa activated his technique and entered Sage Mode, constantly tracking the chakra signatures of Shisui and Danzō.

By evening, after escorting Izumi home, he finally sensed their chakras converge.

Without hesitation, he donned a disguise and followed them to a remote corner of Konoha—

the abandoned Senju clan grounds.

Events unfolded just like in the original story.

After learning about Shisui's Mangekyō ability, Hiruzen had informed Danzō in front of him, even revealing the power of Kotoamatsukami and Shisui's plan to control Uchiha Fugaku.

He also promised to improve the Uchiha's treatment afterward.

The result was obvious—

Danzō set his sights on Shisui's eyes.

Before Shisui could attend the clan meeting, Danzō summoned him here—

and laid a trap.

To be honest, Kamikawa didn't dislike someone like Shisui.

Compared to a hypocrite like Hiruzen or a snake like Danzō, Shisui was far easier to deal with.

If Kamikawa wanted to, saving him wouldn't be difficult.

But their values were completely different.

Anyone familiar with Naruto knew—

Shisui was utterly devoted to the Will of Fire.

Even in death, he trusted Konoha's leadership.

Kamikawa might have Kyōka Suigetsu, allowing him to control the five senses and counter most genjutsu—even something like Tsukuyomi—

or break them outright with his overwhelming spiritual and physical energy.

But Kotoamatsukami was different.

It manipulated will itself.

Anyone caught by it could become a puppet.

If Kamikawa ever stood against Konoha in the future, Shisui would undoubtedly oppose him.

And against an ability like that—

there was no room for risk.

Such a power either had to disappear…

or belong to him.

He had no intention of living his life constantly maintaining Kyōka Suigetsu just to guard against Shisui.

If Shisui lives… I won't have peace of mind.

Hidden beneath his black cloak, Kamikawa's eyes turned cold as he watched the two figures ahead.

"Why did you call me here, Danzō-sama? The clan meeting is about to begin."

Shisui asked, confused.

"If you act against Uchiha Fugaku to stabilize the clan, but the village refuses to change its treatment of the Uchiha… what will you do?"

Danzō didn't attack immediately. Instead, he tested Shisui.

The answer—

was exactly what he expected.

And it only strengthened his resolve.

"The Hokage promised me he would make changes."

Shisui replied firmly.

"Even if you convince the Third Hokage, the village's suspicion of the Uchiha will not disappear."

At the mention of Hiruzen, a trace of disdain flashed in Danzō's eyes.

Then he looked at Shisui again—

this time filled with greed.

Still trusting Konoha, Shisui failed to notice the danger closing in.

"I understand. Given time, I will—"

He was cut off.

"That's exactly the problem. Someone as suspicious as me won't change easily. What will you do then?"

Danzō lowered his head slightly, his face cast in shadow.

Beneath the bandages, his Sharingan was already prepared—Izanagi activated.

"Danzō-sama…"

Shisui tried to speak again, but Danzō interrupted once more:

"When that time comes… will you use Kotoamatsukami on me as well?"

As he spoke, Danzō suddenly raised his head, his expression turning vicious.

Throwing aside his cane, he lunged forward, his left hand clawing toward Shisui's eyes.

"Those Sharingan… will belong to me."

Shisui was startled—but as a prodigy of the Uchiha, he reacted instantly.

He seized Danzō's arm and cast a genjutsu, freezing him in place.

"This is only a basic genjutsu. It won't hold for long."

With a disappointed look, Shisui lowered Danzō's arm and turned to leave.

But before he could take more than a few steps—

Danzō suddenly reappeared in front of him.

Bang!

A heavy punch slammed into Shisui's abdomen.

At the same time, his left hand shot forward—

tearing out Shisui's right eye in one swift, brutal motion.

Blood streaked through the air.

Shisui staggered back, clutching his empty eye socket, retreating quickly to create distance.
