"Peter, Ned, what do you mean?"

"I kindly invited you to play a game, and you dared to refuse. Are you saying you don't take me seriously?"

Seeing the whole class looking his way, the tall and burly Thompson grew even more arrogant.

"Yeah, yeah!"

"Peter, Ned—you're both cowards!"

Whistle—

Behind Thompson, two boys—one Black, one white—whistled and gave thumbs-ups, looking extremely smug.

"N-no…"

Peter Parker was cornered, trembling.

Chubby Ned swallowed nervously, not knowing how to argue back.

Thompson sneered, "No, you already agreed. That's what you said—everyone here can testify!"

"I testify!"

"Me too!"

"Peter agreed himself!"

The classmates got excited and fanned the flames. In the end, Peter had no choice but to go along.

With the plan set, Thompson clenched his fist excitedly."I'll be Captain America!"

The Black boy Tommy shouted, "I'll be Bucky!"

The white boy John yelled, "I'll be Wolverine—Logan!"

Thompson pointed at them."Peter, you'll be the villain Red Skull. Ned, you'll be Doctor Zola. You have ten seconds to prepare. After that, the Howling Commandos will attack Hydra!"

Gulp.

Peter swallowed hard. What a stupid game—this was just an excuse to beat him and Ned up.

But he had no choice. Refusing would only make things worse.

Then he saw Rimuru in the crowd—and his heart sank even further.

After witnessing this, she probably wouldn't want to play with him anymore… she might even join the others in bullying him.

He had finally met someone who didn't laugh at him—someone who even talked to him. And now, in less than half a day, everything was going back to how it was before.

Why did this always happen?

Maybe… maybe things would be better in middle school…

"Red Skull, your end has come! I will defeat you in the name of justice!"

Thompson charged at Peter—

"Wait!"

A voice suddenly rang out.

Everyone turned in shock toward Rimuru.

She dared to oppose Thompson?

Thompson, Tommy, and John were the three biggest bullies in the class.

If Rimuru stood out like this, she might just replace Peter as their new target.

Thompson raised an eyebrow and snapped his fingers."What? You want to stand up for Nerd Peter?"

John shouted, "Don't think I won't hit you just because you're a girl!"

Tommy flexed his fist. "Yeah! My punch is harder than iron!"

In American schools, getting beaten up and running to parents or teachers wasn't exactly respected.

Even if you fought back, it wouldn't change much.

Rimuru smiled."Of course not. I just want to play the game with you."

"A game should be fair, right? You've got Captain America, Bucky, and Wolverine—Peter's side should have three people too."

"Huh?"

Everyone was stunned.

Especially Peter and Ned—they looked like they'd seen a ghost.

Fighting alongside them against Thompson?

Wasn't that just asking for trouble?

But… Rimuru was helping them.

She was definitely helping them.

In that instant, Peter and Ned felt a surge of complicated emotions.

Thompson smirked."You asked for it. Get them!"

The three boys charged forward, shouting.

Rimuru clicked her tongue, completely unconcerned.

To her, their movements were as slow as ants.

Just as Thompson's fist was about to hit Peter's face—

Rimuru calmly raised her right hand and caught his punch mid-air.

"How is that possible?!"

Thompson couldn't believe his eyes.

She was a girl—how could she be this strong?!

He tried to pull his hand back—but couldn't.

Before he could react, his wrist was suddenly twisted.

"AHHH!"

He screamed in pain and dropped to his knees in front of Rimuru.

At the same time, John and Tommy rushed in.

Rimuru casually let go of Thompson and struck out with both hands—

Smack! Smack!

The two boys dropped to their knees instantly.

It all happened in a flash—like lightning.

Before anyone could process it, the three bullies were already down.

"This has to be a joke…"

Everyone was stunned.

The girls' mouths were wide open—wide enough to fit an apple.

Rimuru raised her hand and gestured at them.

"Again."

The three boys were already terrified out of their minds—how could they dare?

Thompson, who rarely cried, had tears welling up from the pain.

Rimuru frowned."Captain America never backs down from evil. Thompson, are you trying to embarrass him?"

Her serious expression made the three bullies even more afraid.

They had never suffered such a crushing defeat before.

But their pride—and their desire for revenge—forced them to stand back up.

Carefully, the three surrounded Rimuru.

Smack! Smack! Smack!

Before anyone could see what happened—

They were down again.

Thompson took a heavy hit to the stomach, his body curling like a shrimp.

It hurt. So much.

They were just kids—no real endurance.

Soon, all three burst into tears.

But Rimuru wasn't done.

"Captain America, Bucky, and Wolverine are all powerful heroes. Is this all you've got? Again."

Not just the bullies—even Peter and Ned were stunned.

Oh my God… I thought she was an angel…

Turns out she's a little witch!

"I'm done! I don't want to be Captain America anymore!"

"I don't want to be Bucky either!"

"Me neither!"

Rimuru's expression turned fierce.

"What? You're quitting? Thompson, John, Tommy—are you saying you don't take me seriously?"

The three bullies were terrified.

Not just them—even the rest of the class felt chills.

Only Peter and Ned felt something different.

Because what Rimuru just said—

Was exactly what those bullies had said to them earlier.

Looking at Rimuru, the two of them felt like she was glowing.

"So cool…"

Peter Parker's eyes sparkled as he stared at her.

Ten minutes later…

Thompson, John, and Tommy sincerely apologized to Peter and Ned.

Everyone now looked at Rimuru differently.

Bullying was one thing.

Standing up against evil—that was something else entirely.

From cowboys to superheroes, America had never lacked a spirit of heroism.

And right now—

Rimuru was undoubtedly their hero.

No one knew who started it, but soon applause filled the air.

Peter clapped the hardest—his small hands were almost swollen, but he refused to stop.

Without a doubt—

Rimuru became famous in a single fight.
