Chapter 1 - The Throne of Paragon

Prologue

Level 1000 – Residence of the Kaiō

"Finally… I have found it… the Throne of Paragon. A powerful artifact that allows its wielder to control the Tower… With this throne, I will reach transcendence."

These words came from a man clad in white robes, proudly bearing the symbol of the Uchiha clan. His hair was snow-white—a sign of the knowledge he had accumulated over 2000 years. Despite his age, his face appeared young, sustained by his unwavering belief in transcendence—the ultimate truth.

Yet his hands told a different story: scarred from countless wars.

This was Uchiha Kaguyama—also known as the Uchiha God.

Confidently, he stood before the golden hall, at whose center rested the Throne of Paragon.

Seated upon it was the God of Destruction: Seth.

His head resembled that of a black jackal, much like the gods of ancient Egypt.

"Hmph… so you want the Throne of Paragon?"

Seth leaned back.

"You can have it…"

Kaguyama grinned.

"…but only if you defeat me."

"That is only natural," Kaguyama replied calmly. "You wouldn't hand it over willingly anyway."

He crossed his arms and let his gaze wander through the hall.

Its structure was triangular, its pillars made of pure gold, adorned with jewels of every color, shimmering in the warm light.

Slowly, he activated his three-tomoe Sharingan.

His gaze pierced through the pillars.

// Chakra flows through the structure… it originates from the throne. This is no mere building—it is a conduit. A foundation that stabilizes the throne's energy… //

"Argh… I'll give you a tip," Seth yawned. "Turn back. Forget this level."

Kaguyama looked at him directly.

"Turn back? There is no turning back. I have waited 2000 years for this moment… and now I should leave? Forget it."

"Tch… your choice, mortal."

Kaguyama briefly closed his eyes.

When he opened them again, both had transformed into the Rinnegan.

A black sphere formed in his hand.

"Yawn…"

Seth looked bored.

"What is that supposed to be? As if you stand a chance against a God of Destruction."

"Chibaku Tensei."

The sphere shot into the sky.

Suddenly, the entire hall began to tremble. The ceiling was torn apart, and the entire structure was seized by an overwhelming gravitational force—everything was drawn toward the sphere.

Even Seth… along with his throne.

Seth glanced downward.

The pyramid structure housing the throne was being pulled apart.

He flicked his tail in annoyance.

"Oh, come on…"

"Hey… this building is sacred! And protected as a monument, damn it…"

The gravity intensified further. Even nearby mountains were ripped from the ground and pulled into the sky.

In a matter of seconds, the black sphere had grown into a small celestial body—almost the size of a moon.

"Damn… I need to step in before he causes even more nonsense."

Seth formed a yellow ki sphere—charged with 5% Hakai energy.

He fired it.

BOOM.

The explosion completely obliterated the celestial mass.

"Ohh…"

A relieved sigh.

Seth straightened himself and assumed a dignified posture—befitting a God of Destruction.

But suddenly—

Out of nowhere, Kaguyama attacked from behind, cloaked in his Perfect Susanoo.

Seth's body reacted instinctively, effortlessly dodging the strike.

He lightly stepped onto the throne and ascended into the air—deliberately drawing Kaguyama away from the structure.

And as expected, he followed.

Kaguyama drew the massive blades of his Susanoo and attacked from above—careful not to damage the throne.

But Seth dodged playfully and grinned.

"Your avatar is too big… and too slow."

"Do not underestimate the abilities of the Uchiha."

Suddenly, Kaguyama shattered one of Susanoo's blades.

The fragments transformed into white, tomoe-shaped orbs.

"Yasaka Magatama."

The projectiles shot toward Seth.

"Hm… interesting."

Seth spun and flew—standing atop the throne—directly toward the attacks. With incredible speed, he dodged every single one.

Moments later, he hovered above the Susanoo, looking down at Kaguyama with amusement.

Kaguyama, however, remained calm and focused.

"I should end this fight soon," Seth said. "Your avatar is going to destroy the entire level otherwise."

Kaguyama prepared his next move—

But suddenly, he was hurled away with tremendous force. Only the head of his Susanoo remained intact.

// What was that…? //

"Behind you."

Kaguyama turned—

Too late.

Seth kicked him away with full force.

Like a ball, he was launched through the air and crashed violently into a mountain.

"That was easy," Seth laughed.

The atmosphere of the level suddenly turned cold. A chilling wind passed through the God of Destruction.

"Ugh… so cold…"

Seth sensed something. His eyes sharpened.

// Something's coming… //

He glanced over the Throne of Paragon, floating beneath him.

At that moment, a fireball shot toward him.

Seth wrapped himself and the throne in ki. The fireball was negated.

"Enough."

He formed a ki sphere and launched it toward Kaguyama. Upon impact, it destroyed the mountain and the forest behind it. Only smoke remained in the sky.

Seth descended with the throne.

"That was close… whew."

Relieved, he stretched, believing he had finally defeated the Uchiha.

The thought made him grin. It had been a long time since he had a sparring partner. Opportunities like this didn't come often.

"That was an entertaining fight."

Just as Seth was about to leave, a voice echoed from the sky:

"You lost from the very beginning of our battle."

Suddenly, cracks appeared in the sky. Like shattering glass, reality itself broke apart.

// Another trick… huh? //

Preparing to deflect the shards, a massive moon appeared—bearing three tomoe. A Sharingan.

The eyes of the God of Destruction closed briefly. When he opened them again, he found himself unharmed in his temple.

"What… happened…? Huh…?"

Seth flicked his tail violently.

Confused, he looked toward the golden pillar.

"You have lost… just as I said."

Seth turned toward the throne.

There sat Uchiha Kaguyama, his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan active.

"What… did you do?"

Arrogant and composed, Kaguyama looked down at him.

"Genjutsu."

"Gen…"

"...jutsu?"

repeated the God of Destruction.

His voice echoed through the endless hall.

"With this throne… I will achieve transcendence."

Seth's gaze turned cold. Heavy. Divine.

Slowly, he raised his hand.

At that exact moment—

reality itself trembled.

An invisible pressure filled the hall as Kaguyama's chakra began to seep into the Tower's structure. The walls distorted, as if they were no longer stone, but something… alive.

His chakra merged with the throne.

With every passing second, his presence grew heavier. Greater. Infinite.

Worlds… began to flicker.

Realities within the Tower warped like reflections in shattered glass.

// So this… is transcendence… //

Kaguyama's eyes widened slightly.

// I can feel it… //

His body began to dissolve.

Not painfully.

Not violently.

But… perfectly.

He broke apart into countless particles of light, drifting weightlessly through the air.

// I am evolving… beyond everything… //

A confident smile formed on his face.

Slowly, his gaze turned toward Seth.

The God of Destruction stood still.

Motionless.

And then—

…he smiled.

A faint, cold smile.

A look that said only one thing:

> You never stood a chance.

Kaguyama's smile froze.

// …Why…? //

A faint doubt crept into his thoughts.

// Why is he looking at me like that…? //

His particles began to flicker.

Irregularly.

Unstable.

// I… won… didn't I…? //

His gaze fell upon the throne.

It too…

was disintegrating.

Slowly.

Inevitably.

// No… this isn't right… //

A feeling.

Foreign.

Heavy.

Fear.

For the first time.

"Hakai."

The word was quiet.

Almost a whisper.

And yet—

it cut through everything.

No explosion.

No light.

No energy.

Only…

absolute erasure.

The particles that once were Kaguyama ceased to exist.

Not destroyed.

Not annihilated.

Erased.

As if they had never existed at all.

Silence.

Endless… silence.

And yet, one final thought remained—

an echo in the void:

"What… is this feeling…?"

"I… have won…"

A brief pause.

"…or?"
