Tyler refused to let go as he remained around Scarlett's waist long after the tears had slowed as though he believed the moment would disappear the instant he let go and Tia was no different
She had curled against Scarlett's side with one hand gripping her mother's top slightly
Scarlett looked at the twins as she let out a bright smile through her swollen eyes from crying
"My two little soldiers?", she teased softly as she tried to let go of their hands
Tyler shook his head almost instantly
"No!"
Scarlett blinked
"No?"
"That's because we are making sure you don't disappear again", Tyler replied
Scarlett reached out for his head as she brushed his hair gently
"Well, my darlings, I am not disappearing today", she said
"Do you promise us?", Tia asked
