The celebrations inside Bellingham Holdings continued into the night
Music echoed through the lobby as employees laughed loudly and freely for the first time in months. Some danced while others took pictures with the woman who just changed the future of their company
Scarlett definitely smiled for every picture and she thanked every employee by name
Immediately she stepped into the private elevator with Jason, the smile on her face disappeared and the silence between them was comfortable
Jason looked sideways
"Ma'am, you don't look happy. You should be very happy", he said quietly
"But I am very happy", she said quickly
"You don't look like you are happy"
Scarlett leaned against the mirrored wall gently
"I have learned something over the years.....that the louder people clap for you….."
Jason listened to her carefully as Scarlett looked at her own reflection
"The more people will start to look for reasons why you shouldn't have won", she added
