Scarlett instantly realized she had said too much and that she shouldn't have said that
"Oh!! I mean.....I am protecting my future", she corrected herself calmly
Jude just nodded to accept her explanation but something inside him felt weird as he looked at her

She turned slowly
"You know I'm not ordering you, right?", he said quietly
"Ordering? I know", she chuckled

He looked at her directly
"This is probably the first personal favor I have ever asked you", he said quietly
