c1: Broly Crosses Over and Joins the Chat Group
Planet Vampa.
A desolate world located on the edge of the galaxy, this harsh planet was once used by the Saiyans as a place of exile, completely cut off from the jurisdiction of Frieza Force and any form of advanced civilization.
At night, a scorched trench stretching over fifty meters carved across the barren wilderness of Planet Vampa, ending in a massive crater more than thirty meters in diameter, clearly the result of a high-speed space pod crash landing.
In the center of the crater, a spherical Saiyan space pod identical in design to those used by low-class Saiyan infants for planetary infiltration was embedded deep within the fractured rock layers.
After enduring atmospheric friction, extreme heat, and violent impact, the pod's alloy shell had become warped and partially melted, with black smoke continuously leaking from the damaged seams.
Suddenly, a small hand pierced through the metal shell from within, the weakened structure shattering outward under the force.
A small child with wild, long black hair leaped out of the pod, his brown Saiyan tail swaying instinctively behind him, a natural trait of the Saiyan race that enhances combat adaptability under certain conditions such as the full moon.
This child was Broly, a Saiyan infant who had been exiled to Planet Vampa by King Vegeta due to his abnormally high latent power level that rivaled royal bloodlines even at birth.
The environment was extremely hostile; violent sandstorms swept across the wasteland. Amidst the raging winds, Broly suddenly clutched his head in pain as unfamiliar memories flooded into his consciousness.
In one fragment, a man named Lin Hao appeared, an ordinary college student from Earth, casually playing mobile games in his dormitory while waiting for his late-night takeout: three chicken wings, grilled eggplant, and a bottle of beer.
Just as the delivery arrived, the dormitory suddenly lost power.
In the pitch-black darkness, Lin Hao stumbled, lost his footing, and struck his head violently, instantly losing consciousness.
As the two sets of memories, those of a modern human and those of a Saiyan warrior began to merge, Broly felt an intense tearing sensation in his brain. He rolled across the ground in agony as a terrifying surge of ki erupted uncontrollably from his body.
His battle power skyrocketed to over 10,000 in an instant, a level that in Saiyan standards already surpassed elite warriors like Nappa during early planetary conquests.
The overwhelming aura caused the entire Planet Vampa to tremble violently, the ground cracking as if unable to withstand the pressure, resembling the destructive energy surges seen in legendary Super Saiyan awakenings recorded in Saiyan lore.
"I... am Lin Hao, and also Broly!?"
Broly, who had been writhing in pain, gradually forced himself to stand upright. His hands slowly dropped from his head, his breathing heavy as he struggled to stabilize his raging ki.
A bitter smile appeared on his face. "Damn it, what kind of situation is this!? I was just eating a midnight snack and now I've transmigrated into a Saiyan's body! This is insane!"
After venting his confusion and frustration, he gradually calmed down. With the pragmatic mindset carried over from his previous life, he accepted reality under the principle of survival since he was now Broly, he had no choice but to adapt to this brutal world.
At that moment, a massive beast suddenly burst out from beneath the rocky ground. It resembled the native Vampa predators, a ferocious creature covered in green fur with a long neck and powerful jaws, similar to the giant carnivores that once hunted Paragus during his survival on this planet.
The creature lunged at Broly, clearly identifying him as prey.
However, Broly possessing the monstrous potential of the "Legendary Saiyan" was far beyond such creatures. Even without formal combat training, his raw power alone placed him leagues above beasts with power levels barely reaching a few hundred.
Seeing the beast open its massive jaws, Broly reacted instinctively. He bent his knees and leaped dozens of meters into the air, easily evading the attack, before descending with a powerful punch aimed directly at its skull.
With a thunderous impact, the creature's head was smashed into the ground, the force generating shockwaves that cracked the earth across a radius of nearly one hundred meters.
Without hesitation, Broly continued his assault, repeatedly smashing the creature's head into the hardened terrain, each blow fueled by his overwhelming Saiyan strength.
A few minutes later, the beast lay completely motionless, its life extinguished.
Broly grabbed the creature by its tail and lifted it with ease, despite its enormous size. After examining the green-furred carcass, he frowned slightly and shook his head.
Although the creature didn't look particularly appetizing, this was Planet Vampa, a place where survival took priority over taste. Having access to any form of food was already a rare advantage.
With his small body dragging a massive beast several times his size across the ground, Broly began searching for shelter.
Before long, he arrived at the base of a large rocky mountain.
Recalling the Saiyan instinct for survival and destruction, Broly clenched his fist and released a controlled burst of ki, blasting open a crude cave directly into the mountainside. Since natural shelters were scarce, creating one himself was the most efficient solution.
Afterward, he tore off a large chunk of muscle from the beast's thigh and dragged it into the cave. Using friction and ki sparks, he ignited a fire and began roasting the meat, marking the beginning of his harsh survival on Planet Vampa.
As golden fat dripped onto the fire, crackling loudly under the heat, the aroma of the roasted beast, one of Planet Vampa's native predators similar to the creatures Paragus once hunted for survival slowly filled the cave.
Broly took a bite, his Saiyan-enhanced appetite urging him forward, but the taste was extremely unpleasant, far inferior to any cooked meat on Earth. Even so, driven by his Saiyan physiology, which required large quantities of energy to sustain his rapidly growing battle power, he forced himself to swallow several large mouthfuls, his face twisting as if on the verge of tears.
Finally, he devoured the majority of the beast he had defeated, leaving only bones scattered across the cave floor. His stomach bulged noticeably—typical of Saiyans after overeating to replenish energy and he lay down inside the cave, allowing his body to recover as his cells continuously adapted and strengthened under the influence of his abnormal latent power.
Having secured a temporary shelter, Broly began carefully sorting through the merged memories in his mind, especially those belonging to Lin Hao. Combining those with the instinctive knowledge inherited from his Saiyan body, he quickly identified his current situation as the timeline depicted in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
This conclusion came from a critical detail: in all his current memories, there was no trace of Son Goku, also known as Kakarot, who should have been sent to Earth around the same period. This meant Broly had not yet encountered any events involving Earth or the Z Fighters, placing him at the very beginning of his exile.
According to the original timeline, within a short period, King Vegeta would send Paragus Broly's biological father, not adoptive as commonly misunderstood to Planet Vampa in pursuit of his son, after discovering the infant's disappearance. Paragus would then become stranded on this planet, beginning their decades-long survival struggle.
However, Broly now fused with Lin Hao's independent consciousness had no intention of following that fate.
He felt no familial attachment to Paragus. Instead, recalling the events of the original story, he felt a deep resistance and even disgust toward that man.
In the original narrative, Paragus had treated him not as a son, but as a weapon for revenge against King Vegeta's bloodline. Using a shock collar to suppress his power and control his emotions, he forced Broly into becoming a tool driven by rage rather than will.
Even decades later, Broly's ability to communicate remained extremely limited, not because of lack of intelligence, but due to long-term isolation and emotional suppression. His only genuine bond—the giant creature Bah (often mistranslated as Baya), a native of Planet Vampa was severed when Paragus cruelly drove it away by injuring it, leaving Broly in complete isolation.
All of this made Broly reject the idea of meeting Paragus entirely.
Now, his only goal was simple: survive, grow stronger, and eventually leave this barren planet to reach a world with civilization perhaps even Earth, a place rich in food, culture, and relatively peaceful living conditions compared to Saiyan battlefields.
After all, despite possessing Saiyan blood, his core consciousness was still that of an ordinary human. Living alone on a lifeless planet for decades without communication was something he knew would eventually break his sanity.
However, just as he was organizing his future plans, something completely unexpected happened.
A translucent interface suddenly appeared before his eyes, freezing his movements instantly.
[You are invited to join the Dimensional Chat Group]
[Yes/No]
…
Broly stared at the interface in silence. With his experience as Lin Hao, he immediately understood what this represented a typical "golden finger" often seen in transmigration scenarios.
Without hesitation, he mentally selected "Yes."
On Planet Vampa, there were only savage beasts with no intelligence capable of communication. If this so-called Dimensional Chat Group truly connected different worlds, then it could become his only source of interaction and perhaps even opportunity.
Even if he were forced to remain here for years, having others to communicate with would prevent the psychological collapse caused by extreme isolation.
The moment he confirmed his choice, the interface shifted. A familiar chat layout—nearly identical to WeChat from his previous life—appeared in front of him.
As soon as he entered, a series of messages flooded the screen.
"The Strongest Six-Year-Old has joined the group chat."
Group Owner: "Welcome, newcomer! Post a picture to receive a red envelope."
Straw Hat Pirate Captain: "Welcome, newcomer! Post a picture to receive a red envelope."
Little Dango Master: "Welcome, newcomer! Post a picture to receive a red envelope."
Tatsumi: "Welcome, newcomer! Post a picture to receive a red envelope."
Emperor Engine: "Welcome, newcomer! Post a picture to receive a red envelope."
The Child Who Was Left Out: "Welcome, newcomer! Post a picture to receive a red envelope."
Six members, six greetings and almost instantly, six red envelopes were sent into the chat.
Broly's gaze flickered slightly as he observed the strange usernames. Based on his prior knowledge, several of these titles clearly did not belong to the Dragon Ball world, further confirming that this chat group truly connected multiple dimensions.
However, instead of immediately interacting, Broly chose to remain silent.
He suppressed his curiosity and excitement, deciding to carefully observe the situation first.
In an unknown environment filled with unknown individuals from different worlds, acting rashly would only expose unnecessary risks.
For now, staying hidden and gathering information was the safest choice.
