Chapter 1 - The First Vision

Chapter 1: Ayusha had always believed that her life was ordinary, the kind of life where nothing unusual ever happened and everything followed a predictable routine. Every morning felt the same, every classroom looked the same, and every face around her blended into a familiar pattern she never questioned. But deep inside, there was always a strange feeling she couldn't explain, like something was waiting to happen, something just beyond her understanding. She never paid much attention to it, thinking it was just her imagination, until the day everything changed.

It started like any other normal day. The sun rose softly, casting a warm glow through her window, and Ayusha prepared for school without thinking much about anything. She walked through the streets, listening to the distant sounds of people and traffic, unaware that this would be the last time her world felt completely normal. As she entered her classroom, she noticed nothing unusual at first. Her friends were talking, some students were laughing, and everything seemed perfectly fine. But then, something strange happened.

For a brief moment, everything around her froze.

The laughter stopped. The voices disappeared. Even the air felt still, as if time itself had paused. Ayusha blinked in confusion, her heart beginning to beat faster as she looked around. No one was moving. No one was speaking. It was as if she was the only one left in a frozen world.

"What… is happening?" she whispered.

Before she could understand anything, the scene shifted.

Suddenly, she was no longer in the present moment. The classroom looked the same, but something felt wrong. There was a sense of tension in the air, something heavy and uncomfortable. Then she saw it—a girl standing near the window, trembling slightly. Ayusha's eyes widened as she watched the girl take a step backward.

"Wait…" Ayusha said instinctively, but her voice didn't seem to reach anyone.

The girl's foot slipped.

And in the next second—

She fell.

Ayusha gasped, her heart racing as the scene unfolded in front of her eyes. It felt real, too real. The sound of the fall echoed in her mind, sending a wave of shock through her entire body.

"No…" she whispered.

And just like that—

Everything returned to normal.

The classroom was alive again. Students were talking, laughing, completely unaware of what had just happened. Ayusha stood there, frozen in place, trying to understand what she had just seen.

"That… that wasn't real," she told herself.

But then—

Her eyes slowly moved toward the window.

And her breath stopped.

The same girl.

Standing in the exact same spot.

Her body trembling slightly.

"No…" Ayusha whispered again.

Her mind raced as she tried to process what was happening. Was it a dream? Was she imagining things? Or was it something else?

Before she could think any further—

The girl stepped back.

Just like in the vision.

Ayusha's heart began to pound loudly in her chest.

"Stop!" she shouted.

Her voice finally broke through the noise of the classroom, causing a few students to look at her in confusion. But the girl didn't react in time.

Her foot slipped.

And she fell.

The exact same way.

The same moment.

The same outcome.

Ayusha's eyes widened in shock as everything she had seen became real.

Silence filled her mind.

"This… this already happened," she thought.

Her breathing became uneven as the realization hit her.

She had seen the future.

Not imagined it.

Not dreamed it.

She had seen it before it happened.

The teacher rushed toward the fallen girl, and the classroom quickly filled with panic and concern. But Ayusha couldn't move. She stood there, completely still, her mind overwhelmed with what she had just experienced.

"This can't be real…" she whispered.

But deep inside—

She knew it was.

Something had changed.

Something she couldn't explain.

As the situation slowly calmed down and the girl was taken care of, Ayusha sat quietly, her thoughts spinning in every direction. She tried to convince herself that it was just a coincidence, that it didn't mean anything.

But the truth was clear.

Too clear to ignore.

That evening, as she sat by her window, staring into the dark sky, the same feeling returned.

But this time—

It was stronger.

"What is happening to me…" she whispered softly.

Her reflection stared back at her, calm but unfamiliar.

And for a brief moment—

She felt it again.

That strange shift.

That silent warning.

Something was coming.

Something she wouldn't be able to escape.
