Jay's POV
It has been two months since our babies were born. When I woke up, I looked beside me and saw Jace sleeping between us, holding my finger against his cheek.
I smiled and kissed his cheek. He smiled in his sleep.
Then I looked beside him. Kaith was sleeping while hugging Keifer.
I smiled and kissed his cheek as well. He also smiled in his sleep.
Then I stood up and walked over to Keifer and kissed him on the lips.
My hubby is my first baby.
I went to the bathroom to freshen up. When I came out, I saw the three of them sleeping peacefully. I took a picture of them and went downstairs.
I started preparing breakfast. After a few minutes, I felt someone behind me. I turned around and saw that it was Keifer.
He wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my neck.
"Good morning," he said.
"Good morning," I replied and kissed his lips.
He kissed me back. His hands were around my waist, and mine were around his neck.
We were kissing when we suddenly heard crying coming from our room.
We broke the kiss, and Keifer ran to the room. I served the food onto the table.
Keifer came back holding Jace and Kaith.
Jace was crying. I took him into my arms, and he stopped crying. He rested his head against my chest.
"My baby is a mama's boy," I said.
I took Kaith as well and placed both of them in their crib.
They started making random little noises, as if they were talking to each other.
Keifer and I finished our breakfast when his phone rang.
"Yuri," he said to me before answering it.
I was eating a sandwich when Keifer suddenly stood up.
"What? We're coming. Which hospital? Okay," he said before ending the call.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Ella is in labor. It's time," he said. I stood up too.
I went upstairs, packed extra clothes, diapers, and wipes for Jace and Kaith, and went back downstairs.
I picked up Kaith, and Keifer picked up Jace.
I sat in the passenger seat while Keifer handed me Jace. Both babies sat on my lap as Keifer started the car.
I silently prayed to God, hoping Ella would be fine.
Soon, we reached the hospital. Keifer asked for Ella's room number, and the receptionist told us.
We went there and heard Ella scream. We sat on the chairs, holding both babies in my arms.
Then Ella screamed again, followed by Yuri.
We looked at each other. Ella screamed once more, and Yuri did too.
Jace and Kaith started clapping.
"Why are you both clapping? Is it because your friend is coming?" I asked. They both smiled.
Just then, the door opened, and a nurse walked out.
"How are Ella and the babies?" Keifer asked.
"And you are?" she asked.
"We are the babies' godfather and godmother," I said. She nodded.
"Congratulations. Two healthy baby girls," she said.
We looked at each other and smiled. Tears filled Keifer's eyes.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Nothing. I just remembered how we were in school a few years ago, then in college, and now we're parents," he said.
"May we meet them?" I asked. She nodded.
I entered the room and saw two beautiful babies sleeping in their cribs.
"Oh my God, Ella, are you okay?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Congratulations, man," Keifer said, hugging Yuri.
"Congratulations, Ella," Keifer added. Ella smiled.
"I want to hold them," I said.
Jace and Kaith pointed toward the babies.
"Who is older?" I asked. Ella pointed to one of the babies, and I nodded.
Jace pointed to that baby, so I leaned down, and he kissed her cheek.
Then Kaith pointed to the younger baby. I lowered him too, and he kissed her cheek.
" seems like i found daughter-in-law " keifer said we laugh a little
Just then, the younger baby girl started crying. Ella picked her up, and Kaith began crying as well.
I sat him beside Ella, and she held him too so that he would not fall.
He touched the baby's cheek, and she stopped crying. She looked at Kaith and wrapped her tiny hand around his finger.
Kaith looked at me and then at the baby. His face turned red.
" oh my god he is blushing " keifer said we all laugh....
Keifer picked up the older baby and kissed her cheek.
"She's so cute, Jay," Keifer said.
I handed Jace to Keifer and took the baby into my arms.
"Aww," I said as she opened her eyes and looked at me.
I gently touched her cheek, and she wrapped her tiny hand around my finger.
"Aww, how cute," I said.
Jace started squirming in Keifer's arms, so I laid the baby down on the bed and helped Jace sit beside her.
Jace touched her cheek and kissed it.
"Keifer, your boys are just like you. My daughters have only been in the world for ten minutes, and they're already kissing their cheeks," Yuri said.
We all started laughing.
We stayed with Ella and Yuri the whole day.
Yuri and Keifer brought us food and helped take care of the babies.
It seemed that Kaith and Jace were already obsessed with them. They did not leave the babies' side for even a second.
Even while I was feeding them, their eyes kept wandering toward the babies.
And Yuri—he was truly a certified girl dad. He hardly even let Ella hold the babies, bringing them to her only when it was time for them to feed ...
I also noticed a different kind of softness in Keifer's eyes whenever he held the babies.
Ella had already chosen their names.
The older one was named Elliana Hanamitchi, and the younger one was named Yumi Hanamitchi.
Kaith never left Yumi's side, and Jace never left Elliana's.
Later that night, we said goodbye to them and promised to come back the next day.
We got into the car. Half of the ride passed in silence before Keifer spoke.
"Yuri's babies are so cute, aren't they?" he said.
Before I could respond, both Kaith and Jace answered.
"Hmmm," they hummed.
We both chuckled.
" seems like we found our daughter -in-law " he said i start laughing...
