Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Soldier 76

A cold, mechanical voice suddenly rang out in Ronin's mind.

[Global Faith Energy has reached the activation threshold.]

[Soldier: 76 Transformation Form – Activated!]

[Duration: 10 minutes]

In an instant, Ronin felt an overwhelming power surge through his entire body. His mind became extremely sharp, his muscles tightened, and every cell seemed to be burning with energy.

His casual clothes instantly changed into the iconic dark blue tactical combat suit. The number "76" glowed brightly on his chest. A heavy pulse rifle materialized in his hands, humming with energy.

The lazy young CEO had completely transformed into the legendary vigilante hero Soldier: 76.

Everyone in the bar was stunned.

Charlie's eyes nearly popped out of his head. "What the hell…?! This is impossible!!"

Before he could finish speaking, Ronin had already raised his rifle.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three crisp gunshots rang out. The two armed men holding Lucy were instantly shot in the head and collapsed.

"Get down!" Ronin shouted in a deep, cold voice that was completely different from his usual tone.

Lucy reacted quickly and dropped to the floor.

The bar instantly descended into chaos. All the gunmen drew their weapons and opened fire at Ronin.

But Soldier: 76 was already in motion.

He rolled behind a table for cover and returned fire with terrifying accuracy. Every bullet found its target with deadly precision.

His movements were experienced, efficient, and ruthless exactly like a battle-hardened veteran.

"Impossible! How can this be real?!" Charlie screamed in terror while hiding behind the bar counter.

Ronin didn't waste any words. He directly activated his ultimate ability.

[Tactical Visor: Online!]

Time seemed to slow down around him. Every enemy's position was clearly highlighted in his vision. He stood up and unleashed a storm of bullets across the entire bar.

Gunshots and screams filled the air. In less than thirty seconds, more than half of Charlie's men had fallen.

A bullet grazed Ronin's shoulder, drawing blood, but he didn't even flinch. The pain only made his movements sharper.

He charged forward like a wolf into a flock of sheep. The heavy pulse rifle in his hands roared continuously.

"Monster! He's a fucking monster!!" one of the surviving gunmen screamed in horror.

Ronin leaped over the bar counter in one smooth motion, grabbed Charlie by the collar with one hand, and slammed him hard against the wall.

"Where is all your arrogance now?" Soldier: 76's voice was ice-cold.

Charlie's face was deathly pale, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.

"You… you really are Soldier: 76?!"

Ronin pressed the barrel of the pulse rifle directly against Charlie's forehead.

At that moment, police sirens could be heard approaching rapidly from outside.

Ronin glanced at the timer in his vision. Only four minutes remained.

He knocked Charlie unconscious with the butt of his rifle, then quickly moved to Lucy's side, helped her up, and checked if she was injured.

"Are you hurt?"

Lucy stared at the man in front of her in complete shock. She was speechless.

The person standing before her looked exactly like Soldier: 76 from the movie same height, same voice, same overwhelming aura.

Ronin didn't explain anything. He simply picked her up and jumped out through a side window, disappearing into the dark night before the police could arrive.

A few minutes later, in a quiet dark alley several blocks away.

The transformation time ended.

The tactical suit disappeared, and Ronin returned to his original appearance. His face was noticeably pale the transformation had consumed a lot of his energy.

Lucy was still staring at him, eyes wide open, completely frozen in shock.

"Mr. Ronin… that was really you?"

Ronin leaned against the cold wall and let out a long breath.

"Yes… it was me."

He looked down at his still slightly trembling hands and gave a bitter smile.

"I didn't expect things to develop this quickly either."

Lucy's mind was in total chaos. Everything she witnessed tonight had completely shattered her understanding of the world.

The boss she had always thought was just a lazy, gaming-obsessed rich young man… was actually Soldier: 76?

Before she could ask anything else, Ronin's phone rang. It was Thomas.

"Boss, I already contacted Mr. Stark. He said he'll arrive in three minutes… Hello? Boss, are you okay?"

Ronin looked at the police cars in the distance and the unconscious Charlie being carried out, then calmly replied:

"Tell Stark he doesn't need to come anymore. The problem has already been resolved."

He hung up the phone and turned to Lucy.

"Lucy, what happened tonight… you must keep it completely secret. Can you do that for me?"

Lucy remained silent for a long time before slowly nodding.

"I understand."

She paused, then added in a soft voice:

"But Mr. Ronin… you really scared me tonight."

Ronin gave a tired smile.

"To be honest… I scared myself too."
