Choppers POV [Lumina City, arrival]
The new city is BIG. The towers are so tall they probably touch the sky! We soon dock and Brook chases after Luffy. Gigi hands us our allowance while Nami goes to the old guy at the dock. Zoro is gone before anyone sees where he went and Reiko sighs and Reina, who she was talking to has that same amused smile that Robin has. I get my allowance and a head pat which DEFINITELY didn't feel good and look. Nami is always so nice and gave me 1000 beri! I can go buy a lot of herbs, some books and some candy... mmmmmm candy.
We soon disembark and split off, Reiko and Reina headed to the sword district, Robin going to the library, Franky and Usopp to... somewhere SUPER probably, Nami and Gigi arm in arm to the markets and Sanji.. also somewhere leaving a cloud of dust and hearts in his wake.
The smells are overwhelming, there's so much to see, sniff and taste! I sneeze slightly and someone pats me. I look up to see a handsome man with white hair and blue eyes. "I understand. Its a bit overwhelming isn't it?" He asks. "It is! There's so many smells!" I say and he smiles gently, "Come, i'll help you. What do you want?" he asks. Wow he's so nice! And handsome! Nami would like him. "Candy!" I say immediately. He chuckles slightly and takes my hand and soon I find myself in s candy store. "Wow! Thanks!" I tell him, looking at all the different sweets, there's gummys, chocolate... AND COTTON CANDYYY! "Get whatever you like." he says seeing my face, smiling slightly. "REALLY? THANKS MYSTERY HANDSOME GUY! YOUR THE BEST!" I say and run over, stuffing the bag with all the candy I can. He laughs seeing the bag stuffed to very limit. It ripped a little because I tried to put more in so I guess I'll just have to have this. He takes the bag to hold it and gives me another, "Get some chocolate for me too." He says and I nod, feeling so happy. He's so nice!
Soon we leave the store with an armful of bags of candy and settle in some chairs nearby and he gives them and I begin eating happily. Ohhhhh this is happiness. Not even Gigi's tummy rubs can compare to this.." The man smiles slightly and eats the chocolate I got him. He likes the bitter dark chocolate. "I'm Gio by the way." He says, once he finishes his chocolate. I remember my manners Sanji taught me and nods, candy still stuffed in my mouth. He smiles slightly seeing it and is quiet as we stuff ourselves with candy.
Soon we finish and we're both leaning back, exhausted from eating ourselves stuffed. My tummy looks like Luffys when he eats too much. "Oh.... I shouldn't have eaten that much.." He groans. "I would treat you because I'm a doctor... but.." I say full and unable to get myself up yet. He laughs slightly, "Ah its fine.. Just give it a minute... or two" he says and we sit quietly, digesting and eventually looks at his watch. Its super fancy and expensive, "I apologize little one. I'll meet you here tomorrow and buy you candy, but I must go now." He says. I nod, trying not to show my disappointment but he sees through it and pats me, "I'll see you tomorrow, I promise. I'll buy you candy too" He says softly. I nod and he hands me the last bag of candy, "Dont eat it now ok, have it after dinner." He says. "Okay," I say, patting my satisfied tummy.
I then begin heading back to the ship after he disappeared and then remember I need to buy herbs and buy some and as I consider going to the library to get some books too, then the effects of all that sugar kick in and now i'm tired and I want a nap... 'Mmmm... I'm so full...' i think as I reach the ship. I force myself to stay awake as I drowsily go up the gangplank and to my room and put the bag of candy on the night table and flop asleep as soon as I hit the bed, dreaming of candy and handsome and nice men and cotton candy.
